Before I explained what was happening are before they had started I asked each child to go get an apron and put it on , then I explained to each group of the five children that they had to do different types of flowers showing small ones and tall ones, I did an example for them by drawing a daffodil I started of by showing them the stem I drew it with the small skinny brush then I used the thicker brush for the petals of the flower, after showing the children an example they caught on to the activity and they enjoyed completing it when their picture was completed I then got them to place it on the drying rack and I called up the next group and completed this whole progress over again until each child had completed their activity. If this situation occurred in my future, where I was in the position of my FWE, I would strive to handle it similarly, but with a few changes in my professional reasoning practice. First, I would be more empathetic to the other person in the moment. I would try to not only understand where they are coming from in respect to their personal and professional lenses, but also understand the context of the situation in their perspective. I believe that addressing these help the situation move forward and become productive for both parties involved. I would also like to increase my emotional intelligence and pick up on other’s emotions in a quicker and more accurate manner. When I was observing Matthew complete the task, I was interested to find how excited Matthew was to work with me and help me do my homework. When I explained the first task of describing the place value of the underline number, I had to help me understand that if the number is 486, the 8 represents 80 and not just the tens place value. After I helped him with that problem, he was able to answer all the questions for that set of problems. I chose to start off with an easier question because I did not want to make him stress about taking my assessment.

The biggest challenge I have is which coding will come first. There are so many code's, picking the right one. There are Diogenes, Medical terminology, figured out which one will come first. Having the Instructor there to answer your questions. In the long run rembering the code's will help, knowing the code's will help you at your job, and the Instructor won't be there to answer your questions. So listening, taking notes, understanding will make it easier.
