Avoiding the people to stay in main entrance; ensure that nothing can distribute people in main entrance; avoid the materials around the main entrance; Having adequate infection and disease control inside the Residential Home Care; A check up should be done every six months to all care workers and clients who attend Residential Care Home to make sure everybody is in good condition. It is required to take precaution and apply the measures of basic hygiene, disinfection and sterilisation. Person centred care could be defined as focusing on a person’s individual needs, wants, wishes and where they see their target goal. Person centred care also takes into account delivering person centred care to the patients family and carers, as well as the multidisciplinary team that is working together to provide care. The service user is the most important person in decision making for their health care and the nursing process. (Draper et al 2013). Person centred care reminds nurses and care staff that they are caring for the service user, their families and care staff providing the care, this allows the patient power in decision making towards their health and wellbeing. (Pope, 2011)
It is important to follow the agreed care plan because it forms the basis of what is considered best interest for the individual, it is unique to them and details their needs and preferences. All care givers to the individual

In this report I will be investigating how care services meet the needs of individuals by firstly analysing the needs of an individual using care services. Then I will go on to explain the roles of the care planning process in identifying needs, and explain the features of a positive care practise. After explaining that, I will analysis positive care environments and evaluate how they meet needs before finally explaining the role of legislation in promoting a positive care environment.

Different people look at health in different ways. It can depend on their culture, environment, religion or age group. In order to have a clear understanding about how the people look at health, I have conducted a survey from a random sample of people who belongs to the above groups (e.g. people of different ages have been chosen).
Hazards are referred to as anything that can cause harm to someone. Hazards can be found everywhere, for example, people will be able to spot hazards when travelling to work and when they are present in the workplace. Additionally, there are three main types of hazard, these are health hazards, safety hazards and security hazards. A health hazard would be a risk of somebody becoming ill from an incident. A safety hazard would associate with someone becoming injured, however a safety hazard could also relate to an incident that can be caused by broken equipment or a
working in the care environment we must ensure safe and good practise is provided. We are influenced and have such provides to help us gain knowledge such as national factors such as; codes of practise, national occupational standards, legislations and government initiatives. Working in the care environment it is an legal requirement to have an inspection every now and then, which must meet agreed national standards. If not, to result in the home being shut down. Also, the ways of working are set out in legislation and government papers. Every nursing home will have there own policy and procedures which you are able to read for guidance. Also caring and providing for people it is important we behave in a professional manner.
By finding about a person’s preferences, life history and wishes then the care plan can be written to reflect this and the best care can be given. By knowing their life history may explain why they do things in certain ways. It also encourages discussion and leads to building relationships. They may like things done in a certain way to remind them of loved ones who are no longer here.

Legislation is implemented requiring government to offer services to all members of its society. The role of health services and the organizations that provide aid is to focus on the health of an individual and to uphold their human rights. According to WHO (2013), a “well-functioning health care system requires a robust financing mechanism, a well-trained and adequately-paid workforce, reliable information on which to base decisions and policies, and well maintained facilities and logistics to deliver quality medicines and technologies (World Health Organization; 2013).
