For example, how much it cost, where it is located, the ranking, the environment, and more. Founded in 1927, the University of Houston is the leading public research university in the vibrant international city of Houston (UH at a Glance). In contrary, University of Pennsylvania is a private institution founded in 1740 (University of Pennsylvania). Both the University of Houston and the University of Pennsylvania are great schools that have similarities and differences, such as tuition, academic programs, student life, and sports program. Its tuition and fees are $49,536, that’s like buying a brand new car. (University of Pennsylvania). University of Pennsylvania, as informed, has been an institution for much longer than University of Houston. It might be more expensive because it is ranked in the top ten best colleges. Unlike UH, University of Pennsylvania is more successful on School of Education, School of Medicine, and some similar to the University of Houston, for example like School of Engineering (University of Pennsylvania). All of these programs are great, from both universities. They are providing top majors and making sure their students succeed. Everyone might think University of Pennsylvania is more difficult, but it is all on how much the students put in effort. Similar to University of Houston, students do not have to live on campus, but the percentage of people living off campus is lower than people living in school property (University of Pennsylvania Academic Life). Even though they do provide housing like every other college, students still decide to get their own home. With the tuition and fees, pretty sure their dorms are expensive too.
