I am sure that everyone of you have heard about aliens and UFOs. Indeed, we all have heard about the famous case of aliens and UFOs in Roswell, New Mexico. Most people might be interested in the topic of aliens, but I know that the majority of you just think of it as rumours and the existence of them are impossible. Therefore, I am standing here in front all of you to make you change your perspective. I am strongly confident that I have found the evidence of their real existence to convince all of you.

In the late 40s and early 50s there were several reports of suspected UFOs and there was even one very famous case of a crashed ship on a ranch outside the town of Roswell New Mexico. The farmer reported strange unidentifiable materials and cables in his pasture and alerted the authorities at the nearby military base. Once on the scene the officials quickly gathered up all the debris and took it back to the base to examine it. Everyone got into an excitement over the reported “flying disc” that was recovered. But the next day, Brigadier General Roger Ramey held a press conference and announced that the “hoopla” (http://www.history.com/topics/roswell/print) had been about nothing more than a weather balloon. It was at this point that the conspiracy began because although the government had reported it as a mistaken weather balloon, many still firmly believe that an alien spacecraft was recovered.

According to the widely held public opinion, near Roswell, New Mexico, in July 1947 the United States government recovered a crashed UFO and its extraterrestrial occupants. This was referred to as the “Roswell Incident” and the U.S. military had covered the issue up quickly. The original story in the eyes of ‘non-UFO buffs’ for this conspiracy is that on the fourth of July weekend 1947 a rancher William Brazel reported to the sheriff that he recover the remains of “one of them flying saucers” the military was then contacted and Major Jesse Marcel was assigned to investigate the site.

Some claim the lights came from a nearby lighthouse, military tests, or an alien prank gone array. Despite the constant denial by the higher powers, skeptics have remained, well, skeptical. One of the main supporters of the UFO sighting is former cop John Hanson. Hanson organized the Suffolk UFO conference and seeks to shed some light on the conspiracy. According to the former cops, nuclear weapons were being held at the US base in Rendlesham and that is the reason for the aforementioned alien involvement.

An unidentified flying object, also known as a UFO, have been around since the early records of history. UFOs are typically associated with extraterrestrial life or in some circumstances there has been some conspiracy theories that they are government related. UFOs have been used and portrayed heavily in Hollywood films throughout the decades and in the media. Technically a UFO could be categorized as an unknown plane or helicopter but when instead UFOs are brought up people think of a saucer like object shown in the picture. Many flying objects have been witnessed but never identified each year. One of the most famous cases of a UFO and Aliens is the Roswell New Mexico incident in 1947, but it was quickly covered up by the government, and many people are still questioning what really happened. The US government gave some irrational reasons as explanations for the crash. Also, at Roswell‘s case, Brown wrote that a funeral home was secretly contacted to order four children sized hermetically closed coffins. Giving people reason to believe these bodies could be dead aliens after being studied. Few Roswell incident reports showed that the flying saucer was made from unknown materials. After this event, some people started to believe in and research UFO and Alien documents. People usually think of are a grey short body and big eyes because the Aliens in the Roswell incident which was known by the entire world had the similar shape. As researchers called “ufologists” took up the case, they tracked down additional material and interviewed additional sources (McCaffrey 7). Other researchers delved into the matter and Roswell became a central focus for both UFO researchers and conspiracy theorists (McCaffrey 7). Even today, the incident at Roswell seems to interest and baffle researchers all at the same time.

     For half a century the subject of UFO has been discussed by scientists, ecologists, politicians, and common people around the world. It seems paradoxical, but the main question of their discussion concerns existence or non-existence of UFO itself, so many people is not sure that the very subject of their debate really exists. I share the opinion of those who do not believe in UFO saying that this phenomenon has not been scientifically proved, and everything its adherents operates is conjecture and fantasy, and disconnected stories of those who allegedly have seen UFO are far from scientific explanation of the event.
