Education helps us reach our life goals and dreams. It can be valuable, beneficial, and rewardable to those who strive to do their best in college and find the major, college, and specialty that will suit them. Students who receive a higher education are more likely to have a better and stable life. Although the style of disciplines that are strictly enforced in traditional schooling is unacceptable for many students, it could also have a lot of positive impacts to prepare them for the future. Students are always looking for freedom and how to not be under controlled. Positive disciplines teach them how to behave well and work together to create a better community. ____ Grading systems are a positive motivator that helps students successful by striving to get a better grade. As a human, motivations is an important factor that pushes us toward success. In a disagreement with Michael Thomsen who wrote an article called “The case against grades”, “ There is always something or someone to blame in our struggle for education reform. Sometimes it’s the “bad teachers” who get the blame. Other times it’s standardized testing, insufficient funding, or slow-moving bureaucracy. I blame grades.” Although, the grading systems differ from a country to another, but eventually they serve the same purpose of grading students based on their performance and commitments. Students usually perform differently. The use of the grading systems fairly determine their achievements and performance in school Being talented or smart is not enough to have a stable life. Formal schooling degree is important to obtain a better opportunities in life. Growing up in an uneducated family in Egypt was a struggle, especially when you have a very talented and interesting family. My family was barely educated. Most of them quit school at a young age, so they never had the chance to achieve their life goals because they do not have a degree, so The majority of my them are financially unstable and have a low income. To me, this explains the importance of education and how is obtaining a college degree will provide me more opportunities that they never
