Villains In Batman Movies

Bruce Wayne witnessed his parents get murdered by a mugger by the name of Joe Chill when he was young. After years of being raised by his butler, Alfred, he decides that he is going to kill Joe Chill before he testifies against Mob Boss Falcone. At the courthouse, Bruce stands and waits, gun in hand. He is too late, for one of Falcone’s goons kill Chill before Bruce gets a chance.

Gotham has a brilliant roster of villains. Season 3 finished its filming before they were signed off to the fourth season, so there were some decent tie-ups to leave us to interpret. Because we know where the characters are going, we were fulfilled. However, even if we still know where they are going, doesn't mean the ride can't be a blast. Gotham is devoted to each character, the show proves it, and the series delves into the minds of the iconic evils. Thus far, Riddler, Penguin, Poison Ivy are powerfully developed and Gotham continues to introduce more, even Hugo Strange and Mr. Freeze have made an appearance.

The Joker loves chaos he jokes and laughs right in the face of pain and death. He believes that he has nothing to lose. The Joker has no agenda, no motto -- even he can't predict his actions. He has the freedom and creativity to improvise on his actions. The Joker left Batman in a prison within his own mind, from where he struggled to recover even 8 years after the Joker had perished.

First off what does the term movie villain really stand for? The term villain, is pertaining to a character or event whose evil actions are important to a plot. There are certain views of villains that can be found in just about every movie. In this paper there will be a list of a few types of movie villain categories, followed by the choosing of three, then they will be broken down into 3 sub categories. Then two examples will be brought in each subcategory. Ending with the explanation of how the villains reflect a characteristic of society today. In opening here are a few categories of some villains in movies; there is the Beast, the Disturbed, the Criminal, the Equal, the Machine, the Mastermind, and the Bully.

What is a comic book hero, and why do they struggle so much with their identities? A common definition for a hero is “a person admired for achievements and noble qualities”. However, as we all may know comic book heroes are vastly different from this. Throughout our lives almost everybody has been exposed to the comic book hero or superhero that our society seems so obsessed over. We love to read about and watch these fantastical characters’ fly around and save the day. But there is one unsettling truth that is seen in almost every comic book hero, their secret identity and everything it holds. Perhaps the biggest secret for each of these heroes is their identity. This secret can mean life or death not only them but all of their loved ones as well, and all that is protecting them is a little fabric mask on their face. This since of fear that each character must live with is underlining theme that takes place in virtually all comic book hero stories. So as the readers of these comics and watchers of these movies, we must ask ourselves as how can such powerful people live in such a state of fear? In addition to this, can this use of a heroes alter ego be compared to us normal people and our alter egos that we create online?
