Based off of the case provided, the NCRCC main goal is to attract new members to support the renovated facility after AT&T divested itself. Also, given the growing age of its member, NCRCC implemented an aggressive membership campaign back in 1998. The overall goal was to bring forth 680 golf memberships and attract as many social memberships as well. In regards to the board of NCRCC, there are several recommendations that could be made with respect to adding or changing programming activities. There could be more social activities for adults, activities for families with children and some specifically just children. Our town is notable for having several interesting golf courses. For those residents whose interests lie in other pursuits, those courses are a waste of large quantities of otherwise useful space that could be better used to construct another mall or store. For the golf enthusiasts among us, however, the preponderance of courses is a delightful benefit of living in this otherwise uninteresting locale, where the only saving grace is the plentiful supply of interesting people.

*Ring, ring, ring.* I was nervously sweating and pacing around the room. It seemed like it took forever for him to pick up. Then all of a sudden a clear, short, deep, authoritative voice said, “Hello.” It startled me a bit, then I replied, “Hey Jim this is Andria. I was calling you because you told me to call you in March and I was wondering if I could work at Lincoln Greens Golf Course this year?” Jim replied, “Sure.” Unanticipatedly I heard, “Click.” Just like that I got my first job and from that moment on my life had changed for the better.
Each and every week I would head out to the baseball park, not because the experience would always leave me with joy, but because of the joy and satisfaction that the players had when they came and left the field. Many of the player’s parents told my fellow buddies and I, that the players would start counting down the days until the next Sunday, as soon as they’d get into the car! Throughout the entire Challenger season, I was reminded of how easy my life actually is, and how a how much I take for granted daily. With this program having such a great impact, I was dedicated to making sure that the player’s experience was the best possible. Which meant that I would often get there early, and help our Challenger division coordinator, to set up and makes sure that everything was ready for when the players came. My hard-work, and readiness to help out obviously were apparent to the coordinator, Jeff Sandes, as he came to me at the end of last year’s season to thank me for all the hard work, time and effort, I had put in to make sure that the players' experiences were the best

The course received its very first fall frost on November 20th, and chilly temperatures gave a needed time-out from golf, for the upcoming holiday festivities. Speaking of festivities...it was that time again, when the 9-hole ladies celebrated their annual Christmas Lunch on December 3rd, and lunch would not be complete without the beautiful table decorations created by our lovely Suzanne Schmitz. Lori Randall captured our attention at lunch too, with a picture slide show of our current golf season and from decades long ago. Lori has truly been a wonderful golf historian and 9-hole photographer. Way to go, Lori.
I play golf for the pleasure of it; have been doing so for number years, as member, Sharjah Golf Club. I am proud of expertize I have acquired in it. It seems to be a game of hitting a dimpled white ball, placed on a holder, between relaxing walks, with a caddy in tow, whereas it requires knowledge of math, science, engineering and technology for one to be a ‘Tiger Woods’.
Founded in 1876, the AMC was one of the first organization in the United States that devoted to outdoor activities. Before the national park and forest system had been established, the club played direct role in conservation and accepting grants of land for preservation. Since the beginning, the most distinctive characteristic of the AMC was volunteerism that defined its tradition. As the Club membership grew, local chapters had formed to facilitate members ' involvement in activities they cared most about. By 1992, there were a total of twelve chapters, each had its own way of doing things and there was no effort to co-ordinate measures across the club. As a result, most members developed identification with the club by participating in a specific interest group or repeatedly visiting a specific facility. While most activities were accomplished by volunteers, volunteers also ran the governance and managed the Club while the AMC’s affairs were run by a governing Council that made-up of the representatives of various chapters and committees. The Council president acted as CEO and other Council members had direct authority over various club operations.

The manager of City Technologies has approached our company to discuss and plan the company’s annual seven day event, which will include a two day Pro-Am golf tournament to an appropriate location outside of the UK. The trip will be for 16 people, which will be arranged and paid for by City Technologies, as well as a further 20 golfers from other companies who are making their own arrangements for the trip. Places previously visited include Spain, Scotland, Ireland and California, which reduces the number of places they can visit. We must also look at the option of sending a member of staff as a group leader and the costs involved. I will choose three destinations for the manager’s report, as well as a customer care plan, and
