“Most bullies share certain characteristics” Question #1 Today my essay is going to be about certain characteristics that bullies share. And then at the end I’ll tell you why they have those characteristics. So I have to ask have you ever just watched and noticed how the bullies act around people that are not their friend. The first characteristic that I’ve noticed was the ones who need attention, so when they come to school they pick on others that way people can laugh and make them the center of attention. So when they go home they don’t have to worry about their family giving them attention, because they get enough at school. The second one is the ones who dress well and have all the fancy clothes and the new shoes that come out, so they
How many of you know someone that has been a victim of bullying? or have been victims of a bully? Statistically schools students have a one in seven chance of being on the receiving end of a bullies rage (NBNBD). In the United States, there is an estimated 160,000 children miss school every day due to fear of attack or intimidation by other students (NEA), but what are the contributing factors in school violence? What and why do bullies to want to inflict pain on someone? We need to find the many sociological factors in a bully that causes them to do harm to others and contribute to violence in schools.
Many victims of bullying have similar characteristics. For example, shy, quiet, or physically small individuals or those who lack a group of friends are often targets of bullies. A person’s race, sexuality, or physical appearance may also attract bullying or teasing. Bullies often seek

When it comes to bulling males and females have different approaches. So what characteristics do bullies really share? First of all, male bullies tend to confront a victim more direct, not only do they insult their victim but they may also physically their victim. Females tend to bully their victims indirectly. For example it is common for female bullies to spread rumors about their victim or force others to shun the victim. Also while male bullies tend to bully people of both genders female bullies tend to attack that of the same gender, female. All in all both male and female bullies assert power over the victim by hostility.
I am sure every sixth-grade class had at least one kid who was the focal point for bullies. The class was a place for bullies to be in “their own spot”. In the fifth grade, I fought against my inability to make friends, so I did things to garner attention. I thought that if I had enough of the class’s attention or the teacher, I would be safe.

The articles that I read for this assignment were “Bullies and Victims: Revenge Revisited”, “The Partner as Enemy”, and “Competition: Who’s the Greatest?”. Each one of these articles is an in-depth analysis on the human psyche, and each one gives the reader a chance to grapple with some of the bigger questions in life. These articles all talk about subject matter that should be relevant to the reader at one time or another in their life. As I read the articles more closely, a central theme began to emerge. That, through a fixed mindset, one is unable to make the changes necessary to better one’s self. That one is unable to truly move forward with becoming a better person until one loses that way of thinking.

A dictator that runs the country and a bully that runs the school have basically the same goal. All they want is power over others. They want to seem bigger and better than everyone else and they are gonna get it even if it hurts others.
What’s the difference between a dictator and a bully? One runs a country and the other runs a school. People honestly need to understand bullying and dictatorship are a lot alike. A bully runs a school with the same iron fist a dictator has. They also both use fear as a way to overcome their enemies.
