What the saying “make today count” means to me is. Help out the community, be good to others and. To live life to the fullest.
First, you would like to help out the community as much as possible if you would be able to. For instance I help out my community when i can i mow old people's homes since they can't get around like they use to, also when i hear about a local blood drive i try to give as much as i can.
Second, be nice to loved ones and to other people. Some people don't have a lot of luxuries so if you could give a little to help other people that would make a difference also when someone asked if they could use a little help i am a kind of kid that would be “ yeah i would love to help as much as i can”. And you would
The second thing I would do to help others is,donate two hundred fifty thousand dollars for
Don’t be greedy give to the needy. People all around the have said or thought of this once and with the years to come humanity could use some lessons on need before greed.
Community life and civic engagement are a huge responsibility of citizens, although it is not required by citizens, it is an important aspect of a proper citizen. Residents of a community have the constant responsibility of making the society around them reflect an advance in the eminence of lives in the community. The simple duty of any citizen is to give to the common good. Civic responsibilities are achieved by volunteering and choice. Volunteering, involving in positive organizations and aids, or tutoring people in certain subjects, are all ways that people can subsidize to the good of the community. Small deeds that seem to prosper someone in some way or the other is still a way of helping. To learn something from the assistance that one does to another, the deed does not have to be big, as long as the person providing the assistance is doing it with a good heart they can always acknowledge a lesson. Compassion and love is necessary in helping others. When people have the opportunity to help others they may not always get a gift in return, sometimes they may not even get a reply back. This is when the person has to realize that the purpose of helping someone is not for the thank you or the gift, but is for the satisfaction of their soul, betterment of the other, and the ability to learn a lesson. Assisting people needs to be done in a thoughtful and effective way for it to create a lasting impact on his/her self and on society itself.
4. Give back. I spend a lot of time volunteering, not just because it makes me feel good, but it’s important to remember life isn’t always perfect, it can be humbling and volunteering can help you gain perspective that we sometimes miss as we get wrapped up in our busy
One thing I would do to my community is add a Walmart. A Walmart would help everyone in my community. It would save a lot of gas, give people jobs, and it would be in a great location. Also it would bring more people to our small community. They are many more things that I could add to our community, but a Walmart would give the biggest impact.
First things first helping someone else. Thoughtful acts help people in many ways. Maybe by buying something for someone else, cleaning for others, working for elders if needed. Just helping others period.
To begin with, serving my community and donating my time contributes to my personal growth in which, I grow interpersonally. For example, when
Firstly, I will donate clothes whenever it gets too small for me. I will also donate any other used items when I don’t use it. Secondly, I will spread awareness to others who don’t know about poverty, and tell them a couple of simple ways to fight it. I could donate money to kids in poverty in 10 years. In addition, I could teach and provide children with proper tuition and education fees for those in need when I’m older. Lastly, I could open a fundraising campaign for poverty using the internet when I am
Don’t be selfish, help out everyone in need. Although I am mostly known for fighting for women’s rights, that’s not all that I did to help people suffering. I also worked to end slavery along with some of my great friends who wanted to change the world just as much as I did. The fight to end slavery was not an easy battle won. My companions and I knew that freeing the slaves would change the world, life for these poor slaves would be much more peaceful and enjoyable. I blossomed with happiness when I was able to help out all of those helpless slaves in need.
“you run through each day on the fly, when you ask "How are you?", do you hear the reply?” these words of David L. Weatherford perfectly describe are everyday life and how we don’t take the time to stop and “smell the roses”. We need to all slow down and enjoy life so it doesn’t get away from us.
As Casey Neistat says” Free time is the enemy of progress.”, so we should use our free time significantly. Community service is one of my favorite activities, and one of my life goals
Something I have done to better my community is by using my spare time to volunteer my skill set in different parts of the community. In my time helping my community I spent time with Beautify Chula Vista in which I helped, along with other volunteers, to clean up a portion of the community by picking up trash along the roads as well as the houses, also cleaning graffiti along the assigned area. I did this once a year for three years knowing that I was able to help make the community a better place. Along with cleaning up the community I also was able to volunteer at The Boys and Girls Club where I helped to tutor the children of the community in their academic struggles by doing this, I know that these students will have been able to obtain
First is one of the easiest ways by giving money, food, and clothes to the poor and needy. Some ways include feeding homeless people, maybe you can invite them to your house for dinner.Or some other ways could be giving them some spare change you have for example when you are walking on the street and you see a person holding a cup or playing an instrument with a open case in front of them then donate mbe one day they'll be famous and remember you and pay you back in interest. So it is always good to give to the poor.
You, you, and you can make all you do count. There will be obstacles and there will be days when you are fearful. But you, you…yes you can make this life count. I hope you will feel empowered to keep moving as I do when I attempt to show you the reasons to reject fear, remove procrastination and embrace the need to keep motivated in order to make it count.
