What have I done to deserve this? What have I done wrong for my daughter to act this way? I tell her to get up and we walk out the church. As I start the car, I ask “Why did you act like you didn’t want to go to the alter when I went up?” She is silent. As if she didn’t comprehend what I asked, but I know she did.
“Answer the question,” I demanded.
“I didn’t feel comfortable going up there.”
“Don’t you want them to pray on you?”
“Not really”
“Why not? Don’t you believe in prayer?”
She doesn’t respond right away. She’s been hiding something.
“No, I don’t”
“Do you believe in God and Jesus?”
She hesitates once more.
“No.”
I am speechless. There are only two reasons she is thinking this way. It’s either because she’s stupid, or she is possessed by the devil. I pull out of the parking lot and head home.
This doesn’t make sense at all. She was the one who asked for a bible and wanted to start going to church.
“Do you believe in the devil?” I asked.
“No.”
“What makes you think you know God doesn’t exist?”
“I never said there is no god. I just don’t believe in God anymore.”
“So you’re an atheist?”
“I’m an agnostic atheist.”
What she’s saying doesn’t sound right. This has to be the devil inside her.
“How long ago did you decide this?
“Three months ago.”
“Didn’t you say you wanted to be a police officer?”
“Yeah.”
“How are you going to be a cop if you’re mean and cold-hearted? No one is going to want to hire you.”
She looks at me and frowns. “I’m not mean.”
“How can you possibly be
She was endeavoring to change my decision on letting her come with me on this trip. I reminded her of her humble disposition and refused to let her babble any further.
A police officer must never let his feeling get in the way when it comes to doing his/her job. The officer must also remember that he/she is before all a professional, and when the officer puts on a uniform, he is not only representing himself or herself, but the corporation the officer is working for. The officer must be able to
It was my responsibility to help her reach a different understanding. With compassion and love, I discussed with her the circumstance of her history. We read religious text together. I was able to attend her baptismal service later that week.
Life is a learning process, and the mother in this story does not seem to understand that. The child in this story is young. The child has her whole life ahead of her to make mistakes and learn lessons, however; her mother seems to want her to learn anything and everything there is to know at this one moment in time. The daughter speaks twice through the whole story. Both times she speaks she seems confused and uncomfortable with the conversation because she is too young to understand what her mom is saying. At one point in the story her mother states, “Don’t sing benna in Sunday school,” the daughter’s response is “but I don’t sing benna on Sunday’s at all” (200). In the mother’s mind she is just reassuring what she has already taught her daughter, but in the daughters mind is nothing but confusion. She has obviously already been taught to not sing benna and is confused as to why she is getting lectured on not singing it again. Her mother is so set on making sure her daughter follows the rules she has made for her, and becomes the woman she wants her to be, that she is willing to make her daughter feel like she is still

Nadean Cool attended therapeutic sessions with the hope of modifying her reaction to the shocking events of her daughter. The therapist misguided her. The therapist convinced her that her current response was a result of past involvement with a satanic
While growing up with her father, her religion was forced upon her, as for their punishment the children were sentenced to “the verse”, in which they were required to right out one hundred lines direct from the bible by memory. She doesn’t seem to enjoy the idea of faith, but there is no doubt that she realizes it’s
As she kept on weeping she repeated these word a couple of times ?I want to go to the ball, I wish my parents were here.? A pure tear drop fell on the page of the bible and it turn to Philippians 4:13. She heard a voice say ?say this and your wish will become true, since you have been so faithful.? ?I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me.?

"If an officer is afraid to immediately react the way he's supposed to that could cost him his life."
A police officer must never let his feeling get in the way when it comes to doing his/her job.
At the beginning, the rock slab shows that the red tracks were smaller than the green tracks due to the width of each of the footprints. The red tracks were 5 mm and the green tracks were 7mm. These measurements show that the green tracks were larger than the red tracks. Therefore, whatever contrived the green tracks was much more immense than the red tracks. In the middle, The red and green tracks converged and mixed together in a destructive way. This shows that the two supposed creatures may have had an interaction together based on the aggressive way they fused with each other. At the end, the red tracks “departed” and the green footprints continued on. Based on this data, this shows that the green tracks brutally
Friederich Nietzsche wrote, “Whoever fights monsters should seek to it that in the process he does not become a monster”. This aptly applies to police officers who face unexpected and potentially dangerous situations every day. Police officers are confronted with destructive and negative behavior on a regular basis. Law enforcement is one of the most stressful and demanding professions in the United States. Characteristics of police work are stressful because a situation can change at any time. An FBI report shows that approximately twelve out of every one hundred or 60,000 police officers are assaulted each year (Stevens, p. 587). Combined with many other factors,
