A case study is defined as “a report of case materials obtained while working with an individual, a group, a community, or an organization. Case Studies illustrate a problem; indicate a means for solving a problem; and/or shed light on needed research, clinical applications, or theoretical materials” (APA, 2010, p. 11). The goal of this paper is for me to conduct a case study on myself and explain what I have learned about research at an introductory level, and how I evaluate or critique it from a biblical, Christian perspective.

The mistakes of my past have helped to develop my future and the person that I am now. Throughout this whole process, I guess you can say I learned that it doesn't matter how bad you messed up or who you hurt in the process, it’s all about how you own up to your mistakes and what you learn from them. While I was in my early stages of school life I always wanted everyone to approve of me and think I was the nicest person they ever met, so I always tried to blend in. I didn't realize till later that being too nice was actually more of a disadvantage than beneficial, if you're too nice people will waste no time taking advantage of it the moment you give them the chance. Yes, I know that’s something that everyone should learn before entering middle school, but I didn't realize how the real world actually looked/treated people like me till I experienced it firsthand. While in elementary school, I only spoke when I was spoken to and, at first, I didn't think much about it, but later I felt out of place.

Money has been been a big central network in developing our country today. Back then people used to barter items with others, so they could get different things they may need things like corn, fish, wheat, and etc. Salt was another commodity money salt was very difficult to obtain mainly in the inner countries and it is very good to cook with because it adds flavor to your food. In the south people became so wealthy because they didn't use money either there was a system called “Mit’a” from the age of 15 young Incan males had to do physical labor to state of a set of days. Exchange rates play a pivotal role in the relationships between individual economies and the global economy. Almost all financial flows are processed through the exchange rate, as a result the movements and fluctuations of the exchange have a significant impact on international competitiveness, trade flows, investment decisions and many other factors within the economy. Due to the increasing globalisation of the world economy, trade and financial flows are becoming more accessible

In the similar time period Japanese Yen has been in the third position with a turnover position of 20.8% in the year 2005. The overall financial market currency structure has seen a decline in the turnover position of the US Dollar to 85% from a strong position of 88%. Similarly a decline has been in the position of the Japanese Yen to 17.2% from an acceptable turnover position of 20.8%. While considering the trend of these two currencies during the period starting from 2007 and ending at 2010, it is to be noted that minute changes were seen in the two different currencies with regards to their share in foreign currency market. The US Dollar witnessed a continued fall to 84.9% from its previous 85.6% however, the Japanese Yen saw a rise from its previous position of 17.2% to an increase of1.8% that is 19%. During the same time period the US dollar and Japanese Yen were the second most traded paired currencies and was traded at around 14% of the overall foreign currency market second to the US Dollar and Euro pair. Conclusion The foreign exchange market has seen considerable changes owing to the global financial crisis. It is to be seen how different factors like economy and global politics further impact strong currencies like the US Dollar and other competing currencies such as the Japanese Yen.

Throughout this course I have learned many things about research at an introductory level. Research is a critical part of all of our lives in many ways. God blesses each of us with a degree of common sense and we all learn from observing others even as babies, we learned behaviors and skills by observing our parents. Walking through experiences throughout life teach us a lot we need to know as well but sometimes we have to take a better approach when we need to learn about certain things. Many of us know that what works in some situations or with certain individuals doesn’t always work or is the safest option for another situation. Controlled and precisely organized study allows scientists to compare and examine contrasting methods and concepts, also helps them to discover various approaches and be able to learn from individual’s behaviors and experiences. I will act as the case study throughout this paper in order to observe what I have learned about.

I believe in good spirits. I had some bad vibes like tests that I couldn’t pass them. I was stuck, but then my Mom helped me studied. Always ask your parents to help. Frankly, it wasn’t easy, that is why I study during a little bit of class time and the time when students are getting to their next classes. It was a lot easier and I got the hang of what I’m doing in school.

Trading goods in exchange for different goods within the local area and across borders were routine in early ages. It was not until roughly 600 B.C. that the first currency was minted for use. What I have learned about research is that it is a process, a scientific process that psychologist and scientist develop that includes many different approaches and that is carefully peer reviewed and evaluated. There is what is called the Scientific Approach where scientist have an idea or theory and based on their observation will either support the theory or the theory can be falsified by their peers. Data also goes through a review period before it is published in a scientific journal by scientist who have the knowledge and expertise to evaluate it.

Great Eastern Toys is a company in Hong Kong that exports a huge percent of its total sales to the North American and European markets and hence is exposed to currency risk. Previously, the company was occupied with expanding their business and the company 's management had never given much attention to currency risk until their recent meeting with their banker. The banker pointed out that the depreciation of the European currencies during the previous two years had resulted in a substantial loss of income. The company 's management was indeed convinced that they should begin to devote more time and manage their currency position. In this report, we are going to explore the different options for Great Eastern Toys to hedge
