Physiotherapists are health professionals who practice their profession to people of all ages to maintain and promote health and restore function and independence in cases of disabilities or disorders caused by physical, psychological or any other source disorders.
Physical therapists are formed in the knowledge of the physical, human health or receive instructions on using science physical agents such as heat, cold, exercise, manual techniques and therapeutic modalities of electrotherapy.
The therapist is autonomous and independent and practicing in open and equal relationship with medical professionals and other health professionals. He develops his work in the public sector and private, hospitals, rehabilitation
Physical therapist is also called PTs, they help injured or ill patients to recover from their pain and improve their movements. Physical therapists are an important part of treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention with illness, injuries, or chronic conditions.
A Physical therapist is a highly educated, licensed health care professional that can help patients reduce pain and improve or restore mobility. They can teach patients how to prevent or manage their condition so that they will achieve long-term health benefits. To become a physical therapist one must go through years of school and training. My goal of becoming a physical therapist has been my main goal ever since high school. Being in a swim team and helping others out as a lifeguard has motivated to into helping athletes and people with disabilities. To me, working with people would be a fantastic career field for me to pursue. Reaching this goal is harder than most career goals. I will have to go through a pool of candidates that are has motivated as me. This goal that I am trying to accomplish will need a hundred percent of my effort in school and the field itself. Finding “connections in the field of physical therapy will help you find a job faster. Many people will try to get a spot in the career that I want and for me to accomplish my goal, I must be a better candidate than the others.
Physical therapists also can consult and practice with other professionals, such as physicians, dentists, nurses, educators, social workers, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and audiologists to help them with their treatment to a patient. Conducting research or teaching is another job option for physical therapists.
Physical therapy assistant is a health care professional who provides physical therapy services based on the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapy assistant. This professional helps individuals of all ages who have medical issues and health-related conditions that restrict their ability to move and carry out functional activities in daily life. A physical therapy assistant can work in various settings such as private practices, hospitals, home health, sport facilities, schools, outpatient clinics, and nursing homes. The physical therapy assistant is also responsible for evaluating the changes in a patient's performance based on the physical therapy provided. The kind of care provided by a physical therapy assistant may incorporate teaching the patient to exercise mobility, the use of physical agents, strength and coordination, electrotherapy, and training for various activities like walkers and crutches ("Who Are Physical Therapist Assistants?" 2012). For an individual to become a physical therapy assistant, he/she is required to be licensed, certified, or registered by the state. In this case, the educational requirements and examination criteria are usually stipulated based on the particular state requiring licensure.

A Physical Therapist Assistant is someone who carries out task under a Physical Therapist. Physical Therapist assistants help patients regain their mobility, relieve pain, and lessen physical disabilities. There are many reasons why I want to become a Physical Therapist Assistant, but three truly explain why becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant is for me. I have implemented a non-profit organization that helps children cope with disabilities that relate to many different aspects of their lives, I have experienced what physical therapy is like and I know how I can make it more enjoyable for patients, and my passion for working with others to help them live a healthy and happy life.

Through evaluation and individualized treatment programs, physical therapists can both treat existing problems and provide preventive health care for people with a variety of needs (Physical Therapy-Improving 1). Physical therapists are very knowledgeable and skillful concerning the human body. Physical therapy is a complex, but rewarding field to pursue as a career. Specialization, working conditions, job outlook, salaries, and education requirements need to be taken into consideration when contemplating a career as a physical therapist.
I interviewed a physical therapist in my hometown who has been working in this career for several years now. She gave me a great insight how physical therapy really works and all the small things you need to know for this career that wouldn’t necessarily need to have. First, the most interesting information she told me was when I asked her, where do you think the future of this occupation is going? Her answer was, physical therapists would soon be right hands to surgeons so the patient doesn’t have to keep going back to the doctor or the PT (Tronstad). Also, that PT will transition into becoming a PA, physician associate, who performs examinations or procedures, prescribe medication, get ahold of medical histories almost similar to what a physical therapist

However, patients can also enjoy the ecstasy of a non-clinical settings compromised of a 1100 pound 4-legged therapist, a horse, with the guidance of a physical therapist.
