ISIS has been responsible for many gruesome attacks all over the world one of them being the execution of Jordanian pilot Moaz al-Kasasbeh. They originated from Al-Qaeda in Iraq but they had big ambitions by kicking America out and setting up an Islamic state. To this date hold their land there unlike other groups like Al-Qaeda and Taliban. They have a huge support from people as their count being over 30,000 soldiers and followers. They are heavily armed, can fund themselves, have an organized infrastructure, and can cause a lot of damage. Later in 2006, their brutality lost them the support of Iraqi Sunnis who partnered with US forces to help push them out of the country. And for this incident, America takes a lot of credit for this and call it the Surge in which they helped Sunnis rise up against Al-Qaeda in Iraq’s rule. This led to Al-Qaeda in Iraq being defeated but not destroyed by only being driven out of the land they used to control and later they began rebuilding themselves by being involved in the fighting in Syria as they were trying to throw the Shiite Assad regime. Due to their brutal and severe tactics, Al-Qaeda disavowed Al-Qaeda in Iraq. Later in February 2014, the group Al-Qaeda in Iraq

This angered the Sunni Muslims. Al Qaeda, a terrorist group formed by Osama Bin Laden chose to capitalize on their anger and established al Qaeda in Iraq to wage an insurgency against U.S. troops in Iraq. The AQI established war against Iran; they put the shiftier Muslims in the central of Iran and started bombing hotels in neighboring Jordan. Shiite government in Bagdad began reaching out to Sunni tribes, encouraging them to reject AQI. AQI moved into Syria and renamed it selves ISIS. In the past few years, ISIS has grown to be an extremely strong and dangerous terrorist group. ISIS developed from divisions in Al Qaeda, another terrorist group. Both of these terrorist groups believe that the successor of the Prophet Muhammad should be elected, not through bloodline. Although they come from the same place, they are not similar at all. ISIS slowly moves with small attacks, like beheadings and videos to show their power. They conquer territories to expand their “Caliphate,” as they would call it. Al Qaeda was very fast moving with deliberately powerful attacks such as the plane hijackings that led to the falling of the Twin Towers. According to the website, Mirror, in a Jihadi magazine, ISIS says they hate the west because there are some atheists and disbelievers of Allah. They find that to be extremely offensive for the reason that they think the highest of Allah, or their God. They also hate that we invaded their lands.
Isis used to have a different name until 2010; Al Qaeda. In 2010 Isis refocused its efforts in Syria. After years of growing and rebanding with their new and powerful weapons that the lovely United States of America left behind, they

More profoundly known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, ISIS is the upbringing of a new organization that has made people think twice about Muslim’s. ISIS claims to be a state and is spreading chaos and terrorism across the world, putting fear into many countries eyes. ISIS was formed in 2004 as Al-Qaeda in Iraq it was an ally of Osama Bin Laden’s Al-Qaeda. In 2014 ISIS disowned the group. Through recent events ISIS has proved to be a much more deadly and brutal group than Al-Qaeda ever was. They are a self sufficient funding organization. They work like a government and attack like a military that’s why they are a lot harder to fight. ISIS controls more than half of Syria’s oil assets which makes its way to the black market and earns them upwards of $3 million dollars every day. These people are extremists and perform inhumane acts such as beheadings of people and posting them online. A few months ago ISIS had captured a Japanese journalist by the name of Kenji Goto. After asking Japan for an incredible large sum of money to release the hostage Japan declined. ISIS released a video two days after of the beheading of the civilian; this is when people started to take them seriously. ISIS has carried out several attacks around the world such as the recent attacks that took place in Paris. Several bombings resulted in the entire city in lockdown for the rest of the day and
What is the end goal ISIS hopes for: To separate the world into two, kill those who have ruined their religion, and spread their beliefs.
Isis is a major terrorist group which is taking over Europe little by little starting in Syria and Iraq. Isis thinks that they are doing what it is right for their religion, but others think they are doing it as cold blood. Isis is hoping that they can take over america also. Some people dislike the current world order, some people are doing something about it, and some will kill mercilessly to create a rupture in it—these people are ISIS. ISIS is a growing threat originating in the middle east that has killed tens of thousands of civilians in just the past couple years in an attempt to install their ideology worldwide. ISIS’ influence is currently global, and they are still growing. Fitting the profile of terrorism, ISIS has their own political and economic structures. They also follow some Islamic teachings, while having the attention of the world’s largest governments. ISIS’ structure is strange. Many world leaders don’t recognize ISIS as a country despite it having many provinces, an army, and
When ISIS first started it was like it came out of nowhere. When it first seemed to come about, it was grabbing land from Syria and Iraq. Many sources have traced ISIS back to a U.S. Prison called Camp Bucca. Camp Bucca is run by the U.S., and it is in Iraq. Some of the baddest people get put in that camp. If I was in there with a bunch of bad people like me, why not start a gang. I think that the U.S. help ISIS start. Camp Bucca could of been the beginning of it all.
ISIS is one of the biggest threats to the world, and they way do deal with it is by offensive containment.
