Bryce enjoys being around his friends and enjoys the extracurricular activities they get to participate in. He does a great job in expressing his idea and viewpoint on things he is passionate about and receiving feedback on even though I think sometimes feedback from his peers doesn’t matter to him. Most times in group or when with teachers Bryce is the example child or the child that would be most trusted to be the leader but if chosen not to be the leader he does good in following directions.

Like the fictional character of Katniss, Ishmael Beah also became a child soldier.< Beah’s childhood in Sierra Leone evaporated when his village and home were destroyed because of civil war and he became an orphan living on the run leaving him vulnerable to grave dangers at the age of 12. As the “tide of civil war takes over people’s lives and homes, young people may be forcibly conscripted and abducted into armed groups” (Berry 93). During this time he ”became afraid, since [he] could no longer tell the difference between dream and reality” as his nightmares and reality blurred together (Beah 15). Being in day-to-day survival mentality and having childhood joys stripped away was a major physiological scar and a daunting wound to heal. This

Determined and resilient are the first words that come to mind describing Nefertari; He is not afraid of a challenge and is ready for what lies ahead... It is with great enthusiasm that I write this recommendation for Nefertari Vivian. An intelligent and hard-working student, Nefertari consistently focuses on being successful in her academics. She is a well-rounded and adjusted individual with an apparent positive attitude.

He is a great leader and an asset to both student council, and our GT program.
Pictured above is Jahi McMath and her mother. Jahi’s tragic story illustrates a common misunderstanding about death which could have possibly been remedied years ago. As related on the previous slide, it is difficult, and, at times impossible, for a family to accept brain stem death because their loved one appears to be breathing.
Everyone that he has been in contact with always enjoys being around him. He has definitely complimented my attitude when it comes to my outlook on life. He is an ideal role model for anyone that has met him.
