We, as humans, have ethical and moral duties that we must follow. We all might not agree on what is ethical or moral but we all have a belief that we all follow. To simply summarize the difference between ethics and morals, ethics refers to rules concerning upright behavior. A company or organization might publish guidelines or codes of conduct that outline their professional ethics. It is something that everyone in that company or organization must follow. Morals refer to principles of right and wrong behavior and the goodness or badness of human character. A person’s morals are informed by the broader rules of ethics. For example, someone wouldn’t want to steal because they don't feel morally right, it is personal. Someone else might not feel that is as bad to steal so their morals don't stop them from doing it.
