The people that will have access to these futuristic elements will be anyone that can buy a car of this kind although this car is recommended for older people. What does our city do for it citizens? Our city provide for the people. We have public schools all around our city for all ages. In our city we also have public hospital or clinics that people can go to stay healthy. We will provide health care for the citizens to make it easier for them to want to be healthy. Fire and police stations will help out with crime rates and lower them, making it safe for younger and older kids to travel to public spaces to have fun. Every city has their problems that they are always working to fix. In Vetus Georgia we have mainly employment and transportation issues for the older people population. We are working for solutions for employment and transportation issues. These are our problems that we are working to find solutions for. We know that elderly people may not be able to work, for health reasons or because they can’t find a job that they are capable of doing. It can also be hard to find a good paying job that comes with what they want or can do. Before finding a solution in our city to elderly people it was hard to keep up rent. Homes were too expensive. Something we can do about employment is to fix it by lowering how much houses cost for people at a certain age like giving them a discount. It connects to our city because we want all our citizens happy and it will make it
In conclusion, elderly Americans face many obstacles as they grow in age, such as ageism, workforce discrimination, poverty,
Unemployment in the city limits further feeds the belly of poverty. Unemployment rates for Richmond in August 2013 were 8.2% (United States Department of Labor, 2013). These rates represent only those that are documented as unemployed and does not consider the “under employed” as they may be working but not getting paid for a full work week. These unemployment rates would likely be higher if they were accurate and all inclusive of the unemployed in Richmond. The unemployment rate for the entire state of Virginia was reported at 5.8% in August 2013 (United States Department of Labor). The unemployment rate is related to education. There are not enough good paying jobs to support those who did not finish basic high school. There are not
Newark will need to hire many employees to help to clean up the city. Litter is all over the streets, especially where there are abandoned buildings. These clean up jobs will allow anyone with no experience apply, or those who are having trouble finding a job, gain experience and a work ethic. Furthermore, Newark’s crumbling infrastructure needs to be addressed. Fixing roads, restoration of Newark Light Rail (especially underground), converting abandoned building or lots to parks or other useful spaces. These are excellent entry level jobs and, if needed, additional training of workers can be implemented as well. Again, the most important part of these initiatives to revitalize the neighborhood is to employ the citizens of Newark. If the residents of the Brick City are not employed, then the programs will have little effect on raising the people of Newark out of
Recently in Detroit, with the efforts to negate the current standings, they provided housing aid. According to the housing statistic, the housing aid drew crowds in Detroit. “One in four working-age adults in Detroit are without a job and the city’s home foreclosure rate continues to be among the nation’s highest.”
There are many services which are available to the elderly population, these services are usually provided to

It also promoted their skills they had and made jobs focus more on that than an individual’s age. Not only did this help the workers but it also helped the employers because they both found a meeting place from the arising problems of age for work. Though most benefitted from this the ones that have been out of employment for a long time were thought to have had their skills deteriorated, therefore the could no longer seek jobs available to them. Not only did this act help the elderly but it also helped African Americans find jobs as well without the worry of
For city services we plan on focusing highly on education and police force. Our biggest concerns are traffic, health, police. education, and fire solutions. Traffic is our biggest problem because if

The stare of Georgia has Department of Human Resources Through of the state. The DHR has a division specifically dedicated to the health and welfare of Georgia’s aging population. The vision of this organization is “Living Longer, Living Safely, Living Well (DHR)”. The organization also has a mission statement that is primarily focused on meeting the needs of the elderly. “DAS, the Aging Network and other partners assist older individuals, at-risk adults, persons with disabilities, their families and caregivers to achieve safe, healthy, independent and self-reliant lives (DHR).”
Things like school, career help, and local business should be helped instead of high priced business. People should use that it takes to make new businesses on renovating local ones. Rents should stay the same while appliances and living conditions are improved. In Braddock, a lot of building were falling apart making the atmosphere of the companies bad. If the buildings look nice it would draw in business.
While these aspects of society certainly do impact a nation with a growing older population, they are not the most problematic. Financial instability of the country should not be the spotlight of concern, but as people are living longer, people should be more concerned with that the typical life should look different in the future. With this in mind, the article proposes other areas of concern: lack of incentive for volunteering, little to no new education for older adults, and massive technological change with no way for older generations to learn how to use it. If these areas are not provided with change, it will ultimately lead to economic hardship for the elderly, due to the lack of new education and technological knowledge, which would, in turn, able them to work longer. If older generations were able to stay in the workforce longer, our aging society, which people believe may eventually not have a large enough work force, would be able to avoid this presumed
Instead of relying on income from previous occupation, the elderly population, income will fixate, resulting in dependency on their 401k saving plan and other government related programs to assist with activities of daily living. This is why I choose to work with this population, to ensure that dignity, worth, and respect of a person is maintained. However, the aging population should not feel that they are being treated as a burden by the government or their families. In the United States, we undermine our aging population by treating them as though they are not of any value. In reference to this mistreatment towards the aging population can cause issues such as unemployment, health, and elder abuse.
[1] Explained by this exemplifies that a city should have a foundation for it to grow off of. I do believe this will also be the doing of the citizens that help plan at meetings with communities, yet a good foundation is what will lead to a “good city”. Furthermore, with the influence of citizens, a good city will develop from nothing and will have a sense of cultural background from the past of citizens who live there currently.
