There are not many better feelings in life than making one of your dreams come true. However, I have found that making one of your friend’s dreams come true can be even more rewarding. My friend Ryan and I have always shared a passion for cars and trucks. We have spent many hours lying under, on top of and inside of our own vehicles trying to fix and modify them to better suit our needs and make them truly unique. After rolling his last vehicle, a heavily modified 1996 Toyota 4Runner meant for off-roading, he was looking for a new project. He spent over a year trying to find the perfect truck, but never could find the right vehicle. His neighbor ended up offering him a great deal on a 2000 Ford F-350 with the beloved 7.3L Powerstroke diesel, for a price he couldn’t pass up. This is where the adventure began.
Ryan was never a huge Ford fan and contemplated selling the truck almost immediately. The mechanic who performed the inspection the day after he had purchased the truck offered him 30 percent more money than he had payed. However after some convincing on my part he decided to keep it for awhile. Ryan and I spent a lot of time discussing which way he wanted to go with the modifications to the truck, it seemed like every week he wanted to do something different. He decided to add on the modifications that he knew he would be performing either direction he ended up going with the truck. We added on a new bumper, grille and headlights from the newer body style trucks and had

His appearance is a new front grille without the usual chrome environment, which should give the truck a muscular look as well as a new pair of headlamps with standard LED daytime running lights, which to be sure to get the truck a unique look.
for a powerful and dependable truck that will meet the needs of the hardest working-man.
The Laramie Limited Dodge Cummins diesel is a nice truck, but it will put a hole in your wallet from paying $62,995. Some people say that’s enough money to buy a house. If you like trucks you will love this one. It’s just what you want in a truck. It has a 7 inch touch screen, radio with Bluetooth so you can play music without any wires. And you can change the station from the back seat with a remote. This truck rides like a cloud with the sunroof that will cool the driver down with the air conditioning. If the passenger gets cold it has leather heated seats. Going on a trip and need stuff put up? put it in some of the storage places in the back floor. If that's not good enough fold down the seats in the back

The clean, low mileage, comfortable riding red truck that my father once drove has become, over the years, a scratched, dented, and rough riding daily driver that my brother and I can barely fit in the back of. Red Roy, as we like to call it, is a 1996 maroon red Toyota T100 with nearly 300,000 miles on it. Surprisingly, this old truck has never had any serious problems. My father would not trade his truck for anything due to the sentimental value that it holds in our family. My dad purchased it, and everyone in the family has driven and ridden in it. The value of a man’s truck after so many years only increases no matter the actual value of it.
My bubba is a good truck repairman. He works on all kinds of trucks and cars. He makes good money. He has his own place to fix stuff. He fixed granny’s car too. I like to help him. He lets me have a coke when I help him. I want to be like him. I want to fix cars. I want to fix trucks. I want to make
Marketers of the F-150 truck line traditionally target the construction industry with heavy towing capabilities and large carrying capacities. In January of 2015, “Ford starts most comprehensive truck marketing campaign to introduce the toughest, smartest, most capable F-150 ever” (Ford Motor Company, 2014). Marketers again target the working class men who depend on reliability, durability, and capability. Ford bombards the television ads, radio talk shows, consumer websites, print ads, and Hispanic sports competitions with information promising toughness. On the first day of the campaign, Ford placed three television commercials during a nationally televised college playoff football game showcasing the 2016 F-150. The first commercial, forward march, introduced the F-150 as being tougher, smarter, and more capable than the competition. The second advertisement, what’s next, concentrated on innovations such as a remote releasing tailgate, LED lighting, and a three hundred sixty degree exterior camera. The third commercial, move it, let consumers know that the 2015 F-150 has the best-in-class, six ton capacity payload (Ford Motor Company, 2014). The official Ford website has various videos informing the consumer on various topics including: road handling, an aluminum body that reduces the truck weight by seven hundred pounds, six ton load capacity, back up turning knob control and camera, safety, fuel efficiency, strength, and innovation (2014).
The F series second generation changed the truck wheel base on the trucks. The ride quality was improved by adding a longer front and rear leaf springs. These trucks were still able to haul the same size loads as before. Ford completely redesigned the outside of the truck. This version of the truck had bulging front fenders that were connected directly to a large hood. In 1953, the windshield was replaced with a piece of glass that curved more than the windshield of the former trucks. This improved visibility. The rear window in the truck was also made
As the manager of Ford Motor Company, Henry Ford said that their policy was to “reduce the price, extend the operations, and improve the article”. Ford wanted to mobilize America with the Model T. To do this, he had to cut prices to have the car be affordable to the average American. Instead of selling his cars as racing cars at exorbitant prices (as other sellers did), he cut the price or cars from $2000 to only $850. Along with this, his high quality products pleased customers and earned him more business and unexpected free advertising from those customers who found the Model T to be of superior making and usefulness.

Before we pulled into the dealerships parking lot, we set Mike’s parameters out. Mike was going to be interested in a brand new 2013 Ford F-150 pickup truck, while trading in his 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and having upwards of $10,000 cash to put down as a down payment. Sure those numbers sound steep for a college student, but when in the market for a truck priced at over $40,000 MSRP, we had to make it appear somewhat reasonable for the lurking salesman.
Finally, I wanted my truck to look good. I wanted a grey or black truck with off-road tires and a leveling kit.
