Why do you people dislike transgender? Well the reason is transgender will go in the bathroom they are right now a girl or a boy. People don’t want girls go in the boys bathroom and people don’t want boys in the girls bathroom. Some people think it's ok for transgender people to go in the bathroom they feel most comfortable to go in. I think people should go in the bathroom they feel is comfortable to go in, but transgenders should go in the bathroom they are born a girl or boy. A girl goes in bathroom if there a girl and a boy goes in the boys bathroom to make sure everybody is ok with people if transgender goes to bathroom whenever they want to.
It is said that when we are young we know our gender. If we do not conform to traditional male or female roles there is a strong likelihood that others will think we might be homosexuals. Although that is not always the case. Some people just prefer items that seem more interesting to them. Transgenders are born with their gender identity, that
Transgendered people in America have made many great strides since the 1990s. They have encountered violence, lack of health care, and the loss of homes, jobs, family and friends. There have been many phases of the struggle of being transgendered in America over the years. The current phase we must be in now is equal rights. There are many variations of discrimination against the transgendered community. In our society we simply do not like what we do not understand. It is easier to discriminate than to try and understand. We are all created different and we should appreciate our differences. The change must come by addressing the views of the public. There is much justification in the unequal rights of transgendered peoples. The Human
Just because it’s not right doesn't mean there is a perfect solution for it. People can’t dictate how other people feel. Since there are so many rebuttals for every argument on either side, it can be difficult to resolve. The only resolution is to get used to it. As people learn, hear, and observe things around them constantly, it becomes normal to them. Since there are more and more people becoming transgender, people are getting more used to the idea. Hopefully, that will not influence other people to become transgender. Said by Emma Green, “As more Americans learn about what it means to be transgender or meet people who identify that way, it’s possible they’ll become more comfortable with the idea of transgender people using the bathroom that corresponds with their current gender identity.” Although there will be a lot of stubborn people not willing to get used to it, maybe the fact that no matter how hard someone tries, they can't change their sex. The sex of someone is in their genes, XX for females, and XY for males. Someone can get surgery and appear like a female or male, but if you were born a female, it’s impossible to change your sex (Ritchie, John). People on Debate.org say, “Everybody should feel happy and whether that is being transgender or not, who cares! Let them live their life in happiness and peace without having people against them” (“should-we-support-transgender-equality-in-schools”). Everyone wants to
People believe that being transgender is like violating the will of God. I slightly agree with that because most religious people believe that God made you to be a boy or a girl. It is proven that biologically males have stronger muscles that possibly can make them better at certain things, such as sports, than regular males. It is the same with females. They undergo sex reassignment surgery which makes them look more like a female. Most believe that trans discrimination is just a type of mental disorder and I strongly disagree with that. Critics believe it is confusing for that person. Although people argue that gender discrimination isn’t an environmental issue, it STILL is an
A man is a man, no matter how he dresses, so let him into the women's bathroom is absurd. 2. Male perverts and pedophiles disguised as women this is significant because it is said that if a male transition to a female does not matter what he is a male making him capable of thinking like a male and acting like a male it is saying not matter what you do to yourself you are still your biological sex and vice versa. transgender is trying to stop people from thinking like the previous statement because of that, in fact, is the wrong people are who they think they are not what they truly are and that's how a lot of people think.Transgenders are confident in themselves and believe that their struggle will be passed not matter how society thinks or feel about Transgenders it's really about what's in the law and what right they have a unity and what's for the best as a whole also for the future Transgenders to have it a better way than the current Transgenders do, they won't have to struggle so hard. this shows that just like the civil right movement, they want if better for themselves and for their kids or other Transgenders. Transgender believe it could hurt anybody to have a little bit more diverse and open minded.Transgender are gonna fight for what's right until the end not matter how far they
Being a mixed ethnic girl, I can relate to being hated. I do not believe wanting transgenders to use a separate bathroom than a child stems from hate. In my stance it is no different than not wanting a adult in the same bathroom with a child being male or female. It's really about with the opposite for me. I applaud family rest rooms, that are of small capacity. I love everyone and hold no harm to any. I do believe God created male and female. I feel sad for people who feel they were born that way. They are though no different in heart than I am or my sins, and yes i view sins as falling and or lost to be against the Bibles instructions for us.It speaks very clearly if it, and all of the others. I do feel bad for people who are in the middle
Americans are still divided on transgender rights and identity. In a new study from Pew Research Center, 46% of respondents said transgender said transgender people should be required presumably by law, to “use the public restroom of the gender they were born with”, 51% of those surveyed said the opposite- that transgender people should be able to use the bathroom, of their choice. Forcing people to use the bathroom that they were born with can be humiliating, and that’s why we need to come together and have gender neutral bathrooms.
The transgender community makes up a controversial, growing culture in America. Promoting the idea of tolerance, self-love and acceptance, the Transgender community helps support a community that is statistically not commonly received well by the American people of 2015. Many view this uprising as a positive, revolutionary movement that aims to not only help the minority groups of America but progress mindset of all people from potentially
I can also agree with the opposing side, because we all have right to do whatever we want with our bodies and I you feel more comfortable with the opposite gender, go for it, just keep in mind, sex is a biological thing. Anywho, while someone has the freedom to become transgender, I do believe it is not such a good idea. Becoming transgender in this heavily masculine and segregated country, would bring a world of pain to that certain person. This is a sad reality and it most likely will never disappear. If you become transgender you will most likely be treated differently than other people. This can be seen in a survey of gender nonconforming and transgender people in Washington, D.C. The survey concludes that, “70 percent of respondents reported “being denied access, verbally harassed, or physically assaulted”. Basically, the survey shows how transgender people usually fall victims of harsh treatment in part by other people. This shouldn't be the case, but it is what it
In a lot of places around the world more and more people are coming out as “Transgender.” The term transgender means that the person’s gender identity does not correspond with the gender they were assigned as having at birth. From personally having a transgender boyfriend I have since realized that these people experience a lot of discrimination in and from society. Many people simply just do not understand what the term transgender means and they see it as someone just “wants to be a man” or “wants to be a woman.” While there may be people who present it this way, it is more so that the individual just “feels” different, and “feels” as if they are “in the wrong body.” Some people experience this feeling at a young age as my boyfriend did in his elementary age. We live in a world who put these people down for being who they truly are, and no human being wants or needs that.
Many people have spoken about having a tough time accepting a person since the way they sexually identify themselves is different. Being identified as transgender has become a highly controversial topic around the world and part of the population does not quite understand why the people that identify themselves as transgender choose to do so. Some people do not believe in what it means to be transgender and let their opinions on the topic change the real meaning of the term.
Transgender people are no strangers to society: the concept of not feeling comfortable in one's birth-assigned gender has been around since man can remember. It's quite puzzling to see that many centuries later, people still treat transgender people of an alien-like nature, of some sort of non-human species. Transgender people have been discriminated for long enough. The discrimination sent towards them is wrong: they're just humans who made changes to their lives for the better as all people have. Transgender people are regular people who do not deserve the amount of discrimination directed towards them as they get right now.
It's easy for people to hate what they don't understand. Imagine if you were learning how to play the guitar, and no matter how many times you practice and study the right chords, you just can't seem to grasp the concept, and there is nothing wrong with that. Plenty of people happen to have this mindset when it comes to transgender people. There is this constant debate concerning transgender men and women and their rights. In some cases, they are expected to abide by certain requirements in order to full change their gender and aren't granted the right to use the bathroom based on their gender identity.
People tend to look passed the ones whom this debate affects. A survey was taken of over 2,000 transgender college students on the effects of the bathroom debate. This survey showed that the suicide attempt rate "increased 40% among those who said they had been denied access to a bathroom" (Scherer et al n.p.). People who are not considered normal by societal standards may have a hard time coping with the hate they receive. This hate can lead to extremes such as the attempt to commit suicide. The allowance or denial of access to a bathroom led to an increase in suicide attempt rates. Those not affected by the issue do not realize the emotional and physical hardship that transgender people go through. In Washington, D.C., a survey of 100 transgender people was taken. In this survey, "70% said they had been denied restroom access or harassed, and 58% said they has avoided going out in public because they feared being able to find a bathroom" (Scherer et al n.p.). The accommodations of both sides of the debate would allow everyone to feel safer in his or her own community. Family restrooms allow complete privacy and do not discrimination based on gender. Access to these types of facilities would never be denied. Allowing people access to the bathroom they choose opened an entire new side of the issue in
Many people do not understand what it is like to be transgender but choose to speak over transgender people even when they say it is wrong and not how it is. If people would just listen to trans people then there would be less issues. To help people understand what is going on in this world for trans people I will explain what is happening in today’s world. I will show you some of the issues trans people face in the public eye. Even with talking about all of theses different experiences they are still not everyone's point of view and can not be taken as something every trans person experiences. There are trans people who will never experience any of this hate and others will only experience the hate and none of the good parts.
