In addition, every student should be obligated to follow all college professor’s instructions if they want to be successful. The only way I knew I could be obligated to my professor’s instructions was to focus on my goals. Therefore, I was not ashamed to ask a question when I did not understand a topic. For instance, when Scudder met his professor, he was ready to learn. In other words, I was determine, to master my writing skills, so I could become a nurse. My mind was made up to never give up and I looked at life completely different. That is the main reason why I was taking an English course because I wanted to master my writing skills and become a nurse, I knew I was obligated to follow my professor’s instructions because without my professor

When it came to choosing a nursing program/school that best fits my interests and the future of my nursing career, I researched a few of nursing schools and finally came to the conclusion that my best option is the University of Michigan School of Nursing. One of the major reasons for my desire to transfer to this nursing program is that it provides a comprehensive learning environment and prepares its students very well that they have one of the highest rates of its students passing the NCLEX. To succeed in both my nursing studies and my future nursing career, I need a school that will push me to the best I can be to achieve my goal to become a nurse, and I believe this program will do that for me. Another reason I want to transfer to this
For as long as I can remember, I have always dreamed of becoming a nurse. I knew that I wanted to be a nurse I was just not sure of what kind of nurse, but as I got older I grew to love babies and kids more and more. It then hit me, that I wanted to be a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse (NICU). Being born prematurely, and knowing by hearing stories and reading about the NICU has shaped me even more to want to be a NICU nurse. I know that with being a NICU nurse involves a lot of time and dedication, but that does not matter. I am always asked " How are you going to be able to handle being a NICU nurse", which leads to the response of "I know that it will be hard, but someone has got to do it". I have always been told that it takes someone

Arillana Romero Registered Nurse I would like to be a registered nurse. Since I was about 13 years old, because when my tio was in the hospital everything in the room was interesting to me and everything that the RN’s would do. There are bounteous reasons, one wants to become a nurse. A profession that has been around for over a hundred years. Nurses are recognized as strong working and fiercely conditioned television shows. They communicate uniformly and exhibit kindheartedness. A nurse leaves a permanent imprint on their patients who are forever gratified.
To truly be a great nurse, one has to possess compassion and morals. Finding significance and veracity is imperative in the nursing role, and the nursing metaparadigm has provided a transcending guide to achieve this greatness. As stated before, each concept of the nursing metaparadigm relates to one another in which they all embrace the objective of optimal health. The term wholeness is an impressionable description of the concept of person; wherein, understanding a person in their entirety and being able to relate to all aspects of the individual allows for empathetic responses to each inimitable situation. Previously, I felt adept with the person concept, but this course has provided depth and denotation of the evolving conception and will ultimately enhance my style of nursing. My former thoughts of the health concept were ambiguous and primarily discoursed that disease prevention was the means of achieving optimal health. Disease prevention is a minor element within this concept. Physiological, psychological, sociocultural considerations are taken into account to promote holistic healing. I have enriched my comprehension of the health concept and look forward to utilizing the welcomed knowledge as a nurse practitioner. Environment is a concept that I am quite familiar with due to my home health background. Unfortunately, financial and social status monumentally affect the health and well-being of the population. I was ignorant to the environmental concept
My primary goal in life is to become a pediatric nurse. Ever since I was younger, I’ve been fascinated by the medical field and everyone in it. Some of my earliest memories were playing around with a toy doctor kit and poking the play needle into my mom’s arm until she said “ow”, which made me laugh and ask her if she needed any play medications. As I’ve gotten older I haven’t tortured my mom with the play needle anymore, but instead have frequently asked my family members who are nurses themselves as many questions as I can. My fascination with nursing extends into my love for children, I’ve always enjoyed caring for family members’ and also frequently took care of the children at my church. This scholarship is very important to me, I’m excited

Compassion is the highest of all virtues. I believe that compassion or kindness is one of the most vital human characteristics. However, it is one thing that people overlook far too much. Compassion is the place within each of us that makes it possible to see suffering that is not are own, but that affects us as if it were. At a young age, I would always try my best to make a positive influence in people's lives. It started with animals, then it led to tutoring children who are less fortunate to afford a tutor, and then led to help raise money for children with leukemia. When I was four years old I would always take care of the stray dogs and animals in my neighborhood in Haiti by giving
