Why Kids Shouldn T Have Homework

Studies show homework barely makes a difference. Kids claim homework is useless to them, and they might be right. Homework can be hard for kids and when they have trouble then it is harder for them to understand what the instructions are. Kids also get worried when they forget their homework. I think you should be able to turn in homework a day early or a day late. Most importantly kids do not perform better by a lot when they do homework. I think kids should have no homework.

Kids shouldn't have homework. Kids have stuff to do like sports, spending time with family and working. Instead of doing 6 or so hours of homework every night. “homework came in behind not only socializing but also exercise or sports as well as working for pay.” (Gazette,par. 24) I agree because some students have to rush to get their homework done at lunch or before school because they either have sports or have to go to work everyday.

Sometimes our parents have no time to help us because they have their jobs. Then if we can’t get any help it’s going to be either a late grade or an F because we can’t get a good grade without a complete assignment. Our parents could also have a goodnight sleep without having to worry about us failing their classes because of homework. Teachers will also gain out of no homework because they don’t have to deal with grading messy handwriting and awful grammar. They don’t have to stay up however long it takes just to grade all the papers their students. It’s especially hard for middle school teachers and up because there are so many kids and so many different classes. Teachers can go anywhere they want if their lesson plan is finished for the next day if there is no homework. They won’t have to deal with angry kids, teens and yelling at them if they’re failing school because of homework. Homework is keeping everyone up.

The first reason that homework is not helpful is that it limits students’ free time. Students look forward to school ending and being able to relax and enjoy themselves. As the seven hours counts down, they have the afternoon and evening to wait for. However, if they have homework that night, all of their plans are ruined. For all of the work that students do each day, they deserve time to relax. No matter what work students get, it’s really bad. It forces them to work longer, and possibly through the night, which leads me to my next point.

Shouldn't kids work on homework like these days instead of spending time with their family? Kids should be able to spend more time with their friends and family. I think this because homework is very hard and challenging. Homework can give headaches and also stress. My opinion is that homework should not be something to do at home.

Throughout their school years,children say that they hate homework and that it’s pointless. Others will say, that this is definitely not the case. Students who actually spend time doing homework will better understand and execute class work more efficiently. Source C had mentioned that children who do not achieve much do more homework because they’re struggling. But, that struggling never goes away. Instead, children still struggle, but at this point, they don’t believe that homework is important. Source D had actually shown that high schoolers had higher grades when they spent more time doing work.    First of all, Americans today tend to believe that not having homework will be better for some kids and people. But, in some ways homework can benefit the teachers, children, and parents. This is because I believe that students already get enough practice in an average school day and giving them too much homework will lead them to despise learning and school. Many kids around the world think that schools should ban homework. I think that homework is not benifical for students who don’t need it. Why? One, sometimes not necassary homework can cause stress on kids wich could lead to health issuses. Two, when homework isn’t benifical for students it takes away time from other important things.

Homework is ruining lives and families. If we do the work in school why would we waste time and do more work at home? If we didn’t have homework we would have more time to spare.

Students should not have homework. First here are my reasons why some kids don't do it . According to resch 10 % out of 20% students don't do homework. Scond students should have time for some fun stuff. 20 % out of 6 % students play games 8 hours a day in school and students have game, clubs, stuff and go until 8/9 hours a night and don't get a nuff sleep. Third homework sometimes it reck the sports. And Kids don't study and kids don't use class time they talk instead of doing homework. Next kids don't fish there homework don't want to do it. 30% out 40 % do it in team team study is only 42 minutes. After school 15 minutes go to relaxing that why we should have no homework.

Memphis Parent writer Glenda Faye Pryor-Johnson says that, "When your child does homework, you do homework,” and notes that this is an opportunity for parents to model good behavior for their children.” Even though this was for some parents, unfortunately, it is not for all.
