The legalization of medical marijuana has been one of the heavily debated topics in the past few years. While several states have moved forward with legalization, it still has not been addressed on a national level. As of now, it has not been voted on in the state of Florida, but is on the ballet for November 2014. This brings up the question, what medical benefits does it offer, and how will it benefit patients?
In this paper I will discuss the many benefits of medical marijuana, and how a substance that is labeled as an illegal drug can have just as many health benefits as the strongest of medicine. With marijuana becoming more accessible being legalized for medical and/or recreational use in 7 states, I will explain how if used properly can help many people suffering with serious problems like muscle pain, depression, anorexia insomnia and PTSD. But still there is the stereotype that marijuana is a dangerous recreational drug that causes people to be lazy or makes people stupid, so as I go on in this paper I will not only debunk these myths but I will also include three expert written articles that educate us about the use of medical marijuana.
Marijuana is a highly misunderstood drug. Many assume that marijuana is a dangerous substance in which it could be the complete opposite. Researchers have found that marijuana was the cure for most illnesses and diseases. This drug is being criticized by people who doesn’t know the medical benefits about substance.
I ask that you please take into consideration the arguments I will state in this letter, regarding the costs and benefits of legalizing marijuana in America. Currently, nine states have legalized the recreational and medical use of marijuana. The majority of the remaining states has only allowed marijuana to be used for medical purposes. However, even when used medically, marijuana is unreliable and has very little scientific data to support its health benefits. Advocates of the legalization argue that it has a large impact on relieving chronic pains and other symptoms associated with an array of illnesses. But critics of the legalization, state that other better known medications produce the same result as marijuana, and with less risk.
Yet, despite being historically popular – the most widely used recreational drug in the world behind alcohol and tobacco – we don’t know much about this notorious plant. Marijuana remains a mysterious substance whose effects – both risky and beneficial – are widely debated. So what do we know about marijuana, and what are we yet to find out?
Marijuana has had a long and sordid history in the United States. There is an ongoing debate in the country about the legalization and regulation of marijuana. The purpose of this report is to show the positive impact of the Federal legalization of marijuana. This report will show the benefits and drawbacks that will occur with Federal legalization.
The source relates to the topic because it shows the readers the advantages of marijuana. Comparing it to alcohol makes readers assume that marijuana could be helpful and less dangerous than the media portrays it as. Although marijuana is illegal, this article shows that there are health benefits for smoking marijuana.
Before a conclusion can be made about whether or not marijuana should be legal for medical purposes, extensive examination of the benefits of marijuana is necessary.
Despite the start of marijuana’s acceptance as a medical treatment, it’s still not a simple matter to choose the best strain for your individual needs. Being able to identify different types of marijuana plants, strains and their various benefits takes time to research. If you’re a patient who’s looking to possibly treat an ailment or disease with marijuana, you’ll want to educate yourself on what medical
Bringing into the picture all of the conditions qualifying an individual for medical marijuana, it is apparent that cannabis has the potential to help counter the effects of many conditions. And while the conditions vary from state-to-state, statistics
One of the best benefits of legalizing marijuana, is the fact that it has advanced the research of it. Ever since it was legalized, medical research on it has found that it is actually safer than many other drugs.
The consumption of marijuana has long been outlawed around the world. A taboo in most countries, cannabis is now considered a dangerous drug that can lead to disastrous side effects on the human body. This misconception has led to prohibition on marijuana, thus penalizing its consumption and further spreading the misconceptions around the drug. The controversy here lies in the fact that most negative effects attributed to marijuana are sourced from misconceptions, which are in turn hurting the prospect of medical research on the beneficial, therapeutic attributes of the drug. Yet, an increasing number of studies is proving that marijuana, used for medical purposes yields beneficial results. Acknowledging the fact that marijuana us not as harmful as people assume it to be, and that it has many health and psychological benefits, and that it is a cheap alternative to traditional therapy, I believe that Medical Marijuana should be legalised.
Do you smoke weed everyday? Marijuana whether or not you agree with people utilizing weed; it’s a multi-million business across the United States of America. This paper will discuss the pros and cons to using marijuana.
To understand why marijuana has numerous health benefits, one has to look at its two main chemical ingredients, tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCA) and cannabidiolic acid (CBDA). These two chemicals will not do much raw. Either through smoking,
