September 7, 1996... a day that will live in infamy in the rap community. This is the day that Tupac Shakur was gunned down on the Las Vegas strip, or was he? There were many theories to what happened that night. Some people just believe what was put in front of them that he was shot and killed and is dead and that’s that. Then there are other people such as myself that believe that he is alive and well and no one knows. We are going to evaluate some of the evidence that may prove that he in fact not dead. To give some background on the situation according to multiple sources, September 7, 1996, at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Koval Lane, Tupac and Marion Knight were stopped at a red light when a white Cadillac pulled up next …show more content…
The one that stand out the most to me is the last picture taken of Tupac shown below. According to complex magazine the picture was taken by Leonard Jefferson. If you carefully look at this picture which is the last know picture of Tupac you can see a few things that would suggest that his death was a set up. In the bottom right corner there is a date 9/8/96... this picture was taken on September 8, 1996 but Tupac was shot on September 7, 1996. Also, if you look there are actually no keys in the ignition. This would lead someone to believe that this was a staged photo and they were not really driving the vehicle. Is that enough to make you think he is still alive? If not they will give you some more facts.Since being shot on November 30, 1994, Tupac wore a bullet-proof vest almost everywhere he went. Considering that the Mike Tyson vs Bruce Sheldon boxing match which was in Vegas was going on at the time of the shooting you would think he would most certainly be wearing a bullet proof vest around such a big event. But that also lead to another point, it is Las Vegas it is always very crowded and especially with such a big-name event going on. So how are you going to sit and say there was no one that
And tupac kept playing to the gallery. In june 1996 he released a diss track “ Hit’ Em Up “, aimed at Biggie Smalls and his label boss at Bad Boy records, Sean “Puffy” combs ratcheting up the tension between East and West coast rap, in what was fast becoming hip hops most famous and ugliest beef. Within three months, tupac was
Shakur was an amazing artist of his time and still is. There are an exceeded amount of reasons why I decided to write about Tupac Shakur. He’s had a crazy life and I can’t imagine living the life he’s lived. He’s a very interesting person to research about. There are a lot of different stories, theories, experiences and lessons you can learn by learning about one person. He has a unique life nobody could ever relive. He started from the bottom and lived life like nobody else. Shakur can show you how you can start with a life with nothing, but work your way up to the top. This is just a couple of the reason’s why I chose to read, research and learn about a rap legend. Tupac Shakur had a wild life and a one you can really learn from. It’s really interest me about him, just how he’s lived. Shakur is my most favorite rapper. Everything about him, his music, his life is so unbelieveable. You really can’t even think about a type of life
When pertaining to thought of the hip-hop production and history, Tupac Shakur is one of the first names that pops to mind. Shakur was born in the Bronx on June 16, 1971 in Brooklyn New York, and died on September 13, 1996 in Las Vegas Nevada just at the age of 25! His mother, Afeni Shakur was an active revolutionary of the Black Panther Party. She became pregnant with her son in 1970 while on bail after being accused of plotting to start an ethnicity war, Mrs. Shakur was absolved the year after strongly protecting herself in court, demonstrating a talent for speech which her son later comes to acquire. Tupac had a sister that was 2 years apart from him her name was Sekiya Shakur. William “Billy” Garland was the biological father of Tupac Shakur. Even though he was his father in blood he wasn’t actually a father figure he did very little to care for Tupac, only seeing him hardly any times up until Tupac reached the age of 5, Afeni and Tupac lost all contact with Garland. Shakur had a father figure known by the name of Mutulu Shakur, his stepfather. Mutulu Shakur was a former and active Black Liberation party member and condemned criminal,
With the release of his first record, he also got his first arrest. As one Tupac fan once put it, he never had a record until he released a record. The first of his many offences was in 1991, when he was arrested for jaywalking and resisting arrest. Claiming police brutality he filed a public suit against the police department. In 1992, during a confrontation with old acquaintances at a festival celebrating Marin City’s fiftieth anniversary, a 6-year-old boy was shot in the head. No criminal charges where filed, but there was a civil suit. During the same year a Texas women filed a civil suit against him claiming that the young black male who killed her husband, a cop, had been influenced by Tupac’s music. Also in 1992, Tupac arrived at the FOX Studios to tape a segment when he claims his “limo driver disrespected my homeboy, screaming at him like he was less than a man. The limo driver went to his trunk, we didn’t know if the guy was getting a gun or what (Tupac Shakur(1992) ).” Tupac and his friends jumped out of the car and allegedly attacked the driver. Charges where later dropped. The next charge to come was in 1993 when Tupac was engaged in a fight with directors Albert and Allen Hughes over the loss of a role in “Menace 2 Society”. Also in 1993, on Halloween, Tupac was arrested for shooting at two off-duty, white, police officers.
On September 7, 1996, Tupac Amaru Shakur was riding in the passenger side of a black BMW driven by Marion Suge Knight, president of Death Row Records. Tupac and Suge had just finished watching Mike Tyson defeat Bruce Seldon at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tupac was standing up through the sunroof while the car was stopped at a traffic light. The Cadillac containing the gunmen passed an entourage of Tupac’s allies, many of them bodyguards. Four unidentified men pulled alongside Suge’s car, fired 13 rounds, and sped away. No one gives chase and there were no witnesses on the street. How come? Why not, especially after a heavyweight fight? Tupac was shot in multiple places
So the question is was the dead man really tupac? Another question most people ask is how did his driver Knight who is 6 foot 4 inches and weighs 260 pounds only walk away with injury from bullet fragments he wasn't even hit once Jason Parham says “Believe what you want but nobody is that good”. Tupac was cremated after his death so nobody saw his dead body(Jason Parham). This is important because the guy who cremated his body retired as soon as tupac's cremation was over, and he hasn't been seen since. Now a guy doesn't just retire and disappear especially after an event as big as Tupac's death. If nobody saw Tupac's dead body then did he actually die is the question asked
There are many conspiracy theories concerning the life and death of Tupac Shakur. Tupac Amaru Shakur was an American rapper and actor. Tupac was born New York, New York, United States on 16 June 1971. His birth name was Lesane Parish Crooks. Tupac was killed on September 13, 1996, in Las Vegas, Nevada. There have been many different stories about his death. People say he is still alive and then people said he is dead. There have also been people saying his death was caused because of his music and the Illuminati killed him.
On November 30, 1994, Tupac entered a Time Square studio accompanied by Stretch, one of his close friends, and his manager, Freddie Moore. There was a black man sitting on the desk in the entrance way of the office building. The man got up from the desk as two other men walked through the door. The three men followed him to the elevators, drew their guns and yelled, "Give up the jewelry, and get on the floor!" Instead, Tupac went for one of the guns, during his struggle, he was shot five times throughout his body, including two shots to the head. The robbers got away with $40,000 in
Shakur’s legal troubles continued in 1994 when he punched out Menace II Society co director Allen Hughes and served a fifteen-day sentence for his actions. The sexual charge came back to haunt Shakur in 1994 and he was convicted and sentenced to four and a half years in prison. The same day that Tupac was convicted, he was shot five times and robbed of his jewelry in a mugging Tupac claimed that the Notorious B.I.G., rapper that Tupac argued with over the past couple of years was responsible for hiring those who shot him. This intensified the East Coast – West Coast feud (Venable 98-99).
Shakur's post-celebrity run-ins with the law were almost as frequent as when he was growing up. In 1992 he was arrested when a stray bullet killed a 6 year old child during a scuffle between Shakur and two others, though later charges against Shakur were dropped. In 1993 Tupac was arrested for allegedly shooting 2 off-duty Butts County Atlanta police officers who were harassing a black motorist, but the charges were again dropped. Ironically, one of the Butts County officers was shot in the ass, and in 1998 Deputy Scott Whitwell won a $210,000 lawsuit for the incident. Then, that same year, Tupac was accused of sexual abuse against a 19 year old woman in a New York City luxury hotel. Shakur's legal troubles continued in 1994 when he punched out Menace II Society codirector Allen Hughes and served a 15 day jail sentence for his actions. The sexual charge came to haunt Shakur in that 1994 as he was convicted and sentenced to 4 1/2 years in prison, and to add insult to injury, Shakur was shot 5 times and robbed of his jewelry the same day, a mugging that Shakur later claimed came from the Notorious B.I.G. was responsible for hiring those who shot
He selected his alias to be Makaveli, though spelled differently, is a pseudonym for the 16th century Italian philosopher Nicolo Machiavelli. Machiavelli wrote a book titled The Prince, in which the main character fakes his death in order to fool his enemies. 2Pac studied Machiaveli in depth while in prison, was a fan, and had read his books several times. Perhaps Tupac was taking his advice? He certainly has enemies on the East coast, most of who are connected to Bad Boy Entertainment, a rival of Death Row. In 1994, 2Pac was shot five times in New York City while he was on his way to the studio, and he claimed that Bad Boy had something to do with the failed hit. In any case, his name change became fully complete on his posthumous album, where he states in the booklet, "Exit: 2Pac, Enter: Makaveli." An eerie three-fingered handprint also appears on the inside of the Makaveli booklet. Tupac had two of his fingers shot off during the September 7th shooting. Is it coincidence? It is strange that an autopsy was never performed on the body (since when don't you autopsy a murder victim?), and 2Pac's family reportedly cremated his body the day after he died. No one outside of the family has seen Tupac's dead body, other than the doctors, who could have easily been paid off with Tupac's riches. These actions, both before and after the shooting, are strange and point to the fact that Tupac Amaru Shakur is still alive.
There are so many conspiracies out there about his death and what really happened. Out of all of the theories, Tupac being alive is the most popular. Tupac was born in New York City in 1971 and given the name Lesane Parish Crook by his mother, Afeni Shakur. Growing up, Tupac’s mother struggled with drug addiction, and Tupac’s way of escaping was through his music. He eventually gained access to the real hip hop world through his close friend and mentor Suge Knight. Quickly gaining popularity, his stage name became Tupac Shakur. Tupac Starred in five movies, ‘Poetic Justice’ one of the most popular. He influenced so many people through his music, his lyrics shedding so much light on his life, the economy, and his mom’s drug use. His music touched so many people, he was a spokesperson for the entire community. Tupac’s career was a success, he was on the way to the top, but what was supposed to be a night out of fun on September 13, 1996 quickly turned bad when Tupac was fatally wounded by multiple bullets in a drive by shooting. He died six days later at a university hospital in Las
Even after the rap battles between the feuding rappers, Puffy and Biggie said they did not have any involvement in the crime, but Tupac believed that the conflict would eventually claim the lives of both him and Biggie. Tupac Shakur died in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996 while he was in the car with Death Row Records founder, Marion “Suge”
Suge Knight was hit once. emergency vehicles rushed Tupac to the hospital, where he had several surgeries but after spending 6 days in a coma, doctors pronounced Tupac Shakur dead at the University Medical Center in Las Vegas. The obvious suspect in the case was Orlando Anderson, the man Tupac Shakur had beaten on camera the night the fatal shooting took place. Anderson was still being questioned by police when the murders took place about the previous incident, so he was cleared as a suspect in this crime. Police claim they were unable to get any information from bystanders. Despite the packed streets and the several eyewitnesses, police never found the car or any of the men in it. There are no suspects. There were few clues. The case went cold. Police blame the unsuccessful investigation on lack of cooperation by witnesses. Some
December 8, 1980, John Lennon, the former Beatle, was gunned down outside the Dakota Building in New York. “TV networks in the United States interrupted their Monday Night Football broadcast to announce news of Lennon’s death”(MailOnline, 2015). The murder
