Why would somebody say “deep down?”
The fear of being right and not allowing oneself to express to others what you believe. One might say that all religions are deep down the same, because “…if you confess that you believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, you will find yourself suddenly alone” (Kreeft 1).
What would this “abysmally ignorant, intellectually irresponsible and morally irresponsible” person be trying to say about the human condition?
Because they think all religions are the same when they are not. It is easier to classify them all as religious so not to offend anyone. Also they lack the knowledge that each different religion has their own rituals, beliefs and what they consist of (Kreeft 1).

Many are rich many are poor many have money many don’t. Have you ever had a moment where you did something selfish for desperation of money and karma hit you right back with a right hook?. Ultimately, people are the common factor in all religions. People are looking for a connection with other people who are looking for a higher or greater purpose than their own. People seek comfort, hope, companionship, a place of belonging, and love. People need the knowledge that they are part of a common understanding and belief that unites them with other people.
Although religions today take on many shapes and forms, and may seem so dramatically different from each other, in order to study and understand these religions, their similarities must be identified. This paper will first present a definition of religion that will connect to all religions at the simplest base. Then this paper will examine the common practices and experiences that are present in both the primary religions of the world, as well as the indigenous religions. Finally, this paper will discuss the issues that are critical to the academic study of religions.
I disagree with Lauren Slater’s theory that throughout a person's life, one will only surround themselves with ideas and people similar to their own because, it is easy to see that people enjoy controversy and over the course of our lives, our beliefs and ideas can change.

This thought process leads to an odd type of intellect. His intellect is very off because he’s not thinking in a sensible way. He let his personal feelings and opinions determine his actions. This is the definition of prejudice. You don’t just get rid of a certain people because you don’t like them.

Furthermore, religion is one topic that can divide people into two sides and it always has been since it was ever brought up. We all have our own religious view others were born into it on the other hand some were not.
