William Higginbotham On October 25, 1910, William Higginbotham was born. He was a very smart boy. He started making his own handmade radios at age 14, so he could listen to early transmissions. He loved to play ping pong and was very good at it. This inspired him to make the first video game ever. He graduated from Williams College. He majored in physics, and he soon got recruited to work on the first atomic bomb. He was not happy when he saw the effects it had on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. He used the money he made to fund a library in New York City. It was really successful, and it is still there today. He soon was recognized and got a job as a physicist.
