Winter Break Research Paper

It was the week before spring break and little did I know I was about to have the time of my life. It all started when my mom told my sister and I we were going someplace special for spring break. My sister automatically assumed we were going to Disney World. Me and my mom didn’t like that idea much, but it was already decided my sister and I just didn’t know yet but we were about to find out. Then my mom told us we were going to Branson. Of Course me and my sister had know problem with that.

During the winter break, I did a lot of things and I spent most of the time with my family and friends. One of the things, I did during the break was to go meet my uncle in Hayward, California. It was a very long drive but it was worth it. When we went there I met cousins who I haven’t seen for a long time. Then my cousins and I went to the mall to do some shopping. Then on our way back from the mall, we went to theater to watch a movie. We spent our Christmas in Hayward and I got a lot of presents. Then we came back to Bakersfield one day after Christmas. Second thing, I did was that I went to go meet my elementary friend. She wanted me to come over to her house. So I went to her house and we did a lot of stuff. First, we baked cupcakes and cookies. We start out each morning with down time, where kids can make the choice to either go to breakfast,read a book, or choose an educational game on an ipad. After the bell rings and we say the pledge of allegiance,we take lunch count and attendance. The children then take a restroom break and I help monitor the hallway. On Monday-Thursday the next step is small group reading. This marking period a had a group 4 boys who where reading d-g level books. We would also used this time to work on sight words.They enjoy playing a game with those, but it only occurs on days that they can me thiet full attention while reading. There are certain moments in life that change your perspective on the common moral standard. How could the world tolerate such despicable behavior? One particular night of spring break was a night that I would never forget. Every student has an expectation for spring break. Their hopes are to party and create a week of fun-filled memories with friends that will last a lifetime.

Why take summer off when you can have more breaks throughout the year? Students love to have away time from school and enjoy their summer break thoroughly. Having free time is what students look forward to and spreading out more time instead of having the whole summer off is what the school board is trying to do. Being capable of more breaks in Fall, Spring and, Winter but not only still having an amount of time off in summer will give students more breaks more frequently, However taking away the prolonged Summer break. Shortening it to merely 3-4 weeks. Shortening the Summer break and adding more breaks in during the school year is a good idea because the breaks will occur more frequently, More free time, Students will be less forgetful.

I love winter break because I get to spend time with my family. We have made plan these day that my daughter don't go to school. W go to the park near to our home. We make some sandwiches. We have a good time at the park. We also go to the movies and we get popcorn and soda. My husband and I we do all the fixing in the house. We paint the house and fix the garden. We get the house ready for Christmas. this year is going to N. Y. and see the snow ( we hope it is snowing ) for my kids can play in the snow. I love winter break because is season, remember Jesus. I have spent time with my family. I am opnenig the presents with my daughters.

I was wearing the new clothes that my girlfriend got me for Christmas and they fit great. They were really comfortable and really nice clothes. We got on a few rides =, not a lot because the lines were super long. However, we enjoyed our time at Disneyland. We also got some really cool Disney hats. She got a white hat with Stitch in the middle and I got a Monsters Inc. hat. After Disneyland we went back to her house to pick up her little sister because we were on babysitting duty for the night while her parents had some alone time. We didn’t mind they had left us with more than enough money for the night so we went out to eat at Taco Bell and then we went bowling with her sister. We also picked up my sisters because they are around the same age and also wanted to get out of the house for a little bit. We all went to Lucky Strike and spent about two hours bowling. My girlfriend is a horrible bowler but she doesn’t mind as long as she's having fun she doesn’t care what we are doing. The next day I felt great and decided to have a playdate with my friend Ilia Souders. We had a whole afternoon of flying remote control helicopters and planes. We even made a plane out of paper and tape. We had so much fun! After Ilia left I played legos with my brother. We built a greenhouse with all sorts of exotic plants! I had so much fun! We love playing legos. I had so much fun. I think this weekend was very short but amazing. I had the most fun, the most awesome, and the most crazy weekend ever.

The clouds started to rain on the world, so I played Minecraft until lunch. My castle was almost complete, so I was in a good mood. Then it was reading time and I finished the book and then went out to get the mail. There was a package in the mail so I brought it in and opened it up.

Two days later I went home and went out to eat with my uncle and my 2 cousins. Then we went home and got our laundry. Then we went to Bonner to do laundry.

My summer break was quiet rainy but fun, I did over 26 things this summer break, but my top four things I did would have to be , Red Robin with Grandpa and new shoes that day, Camping with baseball team at the Jelly stone park by Warsaw and best of all staying at my best friend gages house.

Ton’s of schools have been cutting off Christmas break. To be honest I think it is not worth it. Just think about it.

On the way to the store Amy and I took lots of selfies. We had a blast then we got out of the car and went into the store. We got lots of food including things for the beach. We spent about an hour in the grocery store. While driving home we stopped to get ice-cream, which was amazing. Amy ended up dropping her ice-cream, but we went back and got her a new one.

There are many things you can do over the holiday break such as take a break from School!!! During the holidays I spent a lot of time with my family. The holidays are a great opportunity to get together and have fun. What I also did during the holidays was go shopping, play with my dog (jacob), and go on vacation to see my family members.

When the summer break started, I didn't really do much of anything. I slept more, went to bed late, and my dad would occasionally take me and my sister's to the pool at the Robins Air force Base. After a month, our family went on a vacation to Destin, Florida for three days. While in Destin, we went shopping, swimming in the hotel pool and the Gulf of Mexico, and caught some Pokémon. We also went to Destin's harbor by the Gulf and walked around. We went onto a two hour dolphin watching cruise, which was followed by frozen yogurt. When we had finished the cruise, we went back to the hotel. After we had changed clothes, we went to the beach to take a family picture by the Gulf of Mexico. Afterwards, we swam in the gulf for a moment then proceeded
