Rahul koshti, in this paper, the spectrum available for the wireless services is limited; the increased demand of wireless application has put a lot of constraints on the utilization of available radio spectrum. For the efficient spectrum utilization for wireless application IEEE 802.22 standard wireless regional area network is developed, which is based on cognitive radio technique that senses the free available spectrum. In this work we are evaluating the performance of wireless regional area network (WRAN) over physical layer by using QPSK modulation over Rayleigh fading channel and obtaining the bit error rate curves. Further we are reducing the BER for a lesser value of signal to noise ratio so that the bit error network performance of the system is improved. In this work WRAN is simulated at physical layer using MATLAB and from the results it is found that as the Number of receivers are increased SNR is reduced for a fixed value of BER however increasing the number of receivers is not cost effective hence it can be considered as limitation of this system and it gives scope for future work to fix up the BER for less number of receivers [1].
Keshavamurthy, in this paper, a Digital Communication System of Wireless RAN (WRAN) is designed using MATLAB. Here we use Convolution encoding for the data bits generated through binary source. Randomization and Interleaving of the data bits is employed to remove various errors that occur in Digital Communication. Different
Is social media safe enough for schools to allow students to use it on their school WiFi? Or is it too threatening? Why should schools allow students to use their WiFi for social media? Numerous schools restrict students from using social media on their WiFi by blocking them from being used. Although schools currently block social media on their WiFi to ensure student safety, social media should be unblocked on the school WiFi because it can guide students to become more knowledgeable about opportunities in their school, classrooms can use it in their schoolwork, and when abstained from use by high users it can evoke anxiety and depression.

Since the inauguration of my health care career at Keck Medicine of USC, I knew there would be no other academic institution that could better prepare me to excel at becoming a leader amongst the health care community. I have inquired with multiple USC hospital employees about the EMHA program, and all have spoken with high regards that USC offers an excellent healthcare administration master’s degree. I hope to be challenged intellectually while developing leadership skills necessary to mature into a successful leader. My work experience has prepared me to undertake the challenges that would be associated with remaining a full time employee at USC while pursuing an Executive Master of Health Administration.
Wireless networks have become a major part in the operation of businesses and in people’s lives. Wireless networks can provide fast speed internet connections without having to use wired connections. Businesses are doing much better with wireless networks because they don’t have to pay the costs of installing wired networks and people can work easier because they do not have wires running all over the place. Now with wireless networks in place, businesses are able to connect to their other branches and buildings within their area as well.
Cognitive radio (CR) technology is key enabling technology which provides the capability to share the wireless channel with the licensed users in an opportunistic way. CRs are foreseen to be able to provide the high bandwidth to mobile users via heterogeneous wireless architectures and dynamic spectrum access techniques. In order to share the spectrum with licensed users without interfering with them, and meet the diverse quality of service requirements of applications, each CR user in a CR network must:

The 802.11 provides the wireless LAN services for the clients, the access points, and the network connecting them. The association service is used by mobile stations to connect themselves to APs. Reassociation lets a station change its preferred AP. Either the station or the AP may also disassociate, breaking their relationship. Stations must authenticate to use a security scheme before they can send frames via the AP. With WPA2, the AP can talk to an authentication server that has a username and password database to determine if the station is allowed to access the network. Before WPA, WEP is used but it is easy to compromise. The distribution service determines the route for wireless or wired network. The integration service is used when
This section describes the cash inflow and cash outflow, NPV analysis, rate of return, and the payback period. The four different investment analysis methods listed here help to show exactly what sort of financial information we are expecting to see over the first year of business.
Being able to connect with people in a flash is very convenient, how many times a day do you send a text letting a friend know you are running a few minutes late, or send or receive a text about things missing from your shopping list when out at a store. Just the other day I got a text from my daughter just telling she got an A on her calculus test. Wireless users sent over six billion text messages in the United States in 2014. This, according to the Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Association, they expect these numbers to keep increasing. Not only that, but the U.S. population is currently 320,823,323 and growing each second. (Census Bureau) yet there are 621.7 million wireless subscriber connections (CTIA 2014). Unfortunately, this is not just a phase, but rather, a new and disturbing trend that can easily transition into adulthood, resulting in these young people struggling to fill out job applications or prepare a proper resume, not to mention the other problems they are sure to face with an inability to formulate in their minds the difference between 'your ' and 'you 're '.
Wireless networking hardware requires the use of underlying technology that deals with radio frequencies as well as data transmission. The most widely used standard is 802.11 produced by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). This is a standard defining all aspects of Radio Frequency Wireless networking

Wireless is defined as a term that describes about telecommunications where the electromagnetic waves will carry the signals over part or all of the communication path. In the early 20th century, there was first wireless transmitters which went on air using Morse code was using radiotelegraphy and then it was called as “Radio” because modulation was made possible which is used to transmit voices and music via this wireless medium radio. Wireless technology is biggest contribution ever to mankind and it is rapidly evolving and even large number of people are relying
IEEE 802.11(DCF) is widely used contention-based protocol in wireless sensor networks. The DCF is a random channel-access scheme where every station begins its transmission based on
