I have plenty of sources of stress in my life, but to narrow it down to just a few, I would have to say, my responsibility in my position at work as well as being a mother. Trying to balance both of the two can sometimes be difficult. I have a required amount of hours I have to work each week which does take away time from being a mother. I spend a lot of my time at work and not being at home as much as I would like, stresses me out. Some techniques I do use are visualization, and knowing I am not alone. Visualizing the outcome of the work I am putting in. Knowing the outcome is something that is beneficial to both he and I. I am able to provide for my family. This goes along with knowing I am not alone. I know I have people around who support

Stress, we all have it in our lives and for some of us it affects us in ways we do not even realise it. This causes me great discomfort as this leads me to not even have the ability to begin my tasks as I am concerned about how I will be able to complete it on time. Once I am able to resolve this predicament I will be confident enough about accomplishing all my tasks and concluding these tasks to my best effort.
ANSWER- A time I faced a problem with stress was when I was working my pro shop assistant job at Chisago Lakes Golf Course. I was eighteen years old and helping my boss run a big tournament, getting stuff ready for the tournament the day before. The morning of the tournament he hurt his back. He came into work and could not function as well as he needed to run the tournament. I was his right-hand man that summer helping with every day things, so he put me in charge of the tournament and running the staff to help with the tournament. So, I came into work thinking it was just another day I was going to help

Things that stress me are difficult assignments that I have little time to do, not getting enough sleep, as well as having to rush to get somewhere or do something. What makes a difficult assignment stressful to me is the fact that I do not understand the work as well as I want to. Not getting enough sleep puts a lot of stress on my body because that immediately starts my day off badly. By not getting enough sleep it leaves you lethargic for the rest of the day and can cause you to lose focus on what you're supposed to do at that time. Rushing to get something done is another stress causing because you have no time to sit back and relax. It can also cause me to get irritated and upset, making you regret not preparing for whatever should have got taken care of in advance. When rushing to
Stress has always been an extremely interesting and complicated part of my life. I suffer from obsessive compulsive disorder, which also results in anxiety and depression at times. During my teenage years, I self medicated frequently. I didn't want to put in the work and the time to figure out what was wrong with me and how to make it better. Drinking and experimenting with drugs was my way of processing any conflict that arose in my life. Over the past five years, I've been attending therapy, I've started hiking and camping and the birth of my child had since changed my enthusiasm for getting better. I've been baby carrying him since he was born. We've summited mountains, visited hidden, cascading waterfalls and hiked for miles into old growth forests to visit hot springs and lakes. My OCD will never be cured, but I truly work as hard as I possibly can now for myself and for my family to be strong and present and level-headed. I have a bag of emotional tools that I've become accustomed to using now and I am able to process and deal with stress in healthy and productive ways.
Social life expectations is also a huge stressor, people want to feel the need to be popular and pressured to fit in. Another major source of my stress is financial issues, fortunately my parents are able to provide me with necessary needs like a car, school books, food, home, clothes/shoes and money. At the point where I need be dependent on my own rather than on my parents which causes me a lot of stress. Another major source of my stress is seeing my parents hurt whether it be physically, mentally or emotionally. My parents worked so hard and became successful which inspires me and seeing them hurt stresses me out when i’m unable to do anything. My last source of my stress are certain lifestyle choices. I tend to make poor choices that affect other situations in my life in a negative way. For example, staying up late on a school night or skipping an important event to hang out with friends. Some of my internal factors are being insecure or feeling worried. Feeling insecure on how I look or even how I dress and feeling worried about others opinions or other situations. Other internal factors are being confused with what I’m doing with my life. Some external factors include, school and work. Being overloaded with work causes a huge stress on me along with not sleeping at night or having family issues.
What is it that makes something stressful for you or not? Is there some variable that makes all the difference?
The three biggest stressors in my life right now are maintaining my physique, work, and school. Fitness has been a huge part of my life since I was thirteen. The reason it is one of my biggest stressors is because I used to be severely obese. I went from being three hundred pounds to one hundred eighty-five pounds in a span of 5 years. I am constantly stressing about food and going to the gym because I do not want to go back to my obese days. Another one of my biggest stressors is my job. I am a security manager at a bar in Iowa City, meaning I am responsible for keeping everyone in the bar safe at all times. If you have ever been in downtown Iowa City during a Hawkeye Football game you know why my job is so stressful. Dealing with drunk young
I would say my list of stressors include school, my two jobs, my anxiety, homework, time, our house, my car, church, and exercise. I would say these are stressors because at times especially when I 'm in school I want to rip my hair out I 'm so stressed and even tend to become very emotional. I simmered down on classes this semester at Cypress so I 'm taking three this time, due to stress. I work two jobs one at a retail clothing store in Buena Park, and the other at Disneyland as a specialty sales clerk. I also am very religious so I find it hard to find time to read my bible and go to church so I stress on no going, so I try to go every Thursday however I then stress because I have so much time to do homework, and I feel I have so little time to finish it and study. I also have really bad anxiety, that I’v had my whole life so I always worry about every little thing you can think of and by the end of my day after stressing and worrying my brain literally hurts.
Some people have higher levels of stress because they might have a very stressful job. Police officers, fire fighters, soldiers in a war zone, health care providers, long distance truck drivers, and yes, even educators (think of a classroom full of students where you are responsible for making sure that they are learning the skills they need to succeed) have very stressful jobs.
