World War II : Will Humanity End Itself Through The Destruction Of Nuclear War?

World War 1 was a historical period in which the UK, France and the Russian Empire (known as the Triple Entente) went to war with Germany and Austria-Hungry. It lasted for 4 years spanning from July 29th, 1914 to November 11th, 1918. There was much miscommunication between nations, which in turn was cause for much bloodshed as it led to about 16 million deaths in total. Many historians note this War as the deadliest in world history. As the war progressed, many other nations started joining in and taking sides. Soon enough the war would spread over the world. The wars cause is believed to be due to the assassination of the Archduke Ferdinand of Austria. Because of this, Austria- Hungry declared war on Serbia. One would lead to the other and we were left with a mess of each nation at war with each other, making up the World War.

The world was completely unaware of the bloody future that awaited them before 1914, the world was at peace and ignorant not willing to see the future. For the ever country in the world was to busy trying to become more powerful then the next, and the best way to accomplish that were alliances. Alliances were made so that if one country went to war, their allies would also go to war with the same enemy. But this strategy proved deadly when Archduke Franz Ferdinand was killed and the entire country was dragged into war. World War one began in 1914 and ended in 1918, and it was the first total war fought via trench warfare, which proved to be a bloody combination. The German army invasion of Poland and the Soviet Union, the Holocaust, Japanese imperialism, Perl Harbor attacks, and the dropping of atomic bombs on Japan, were some of the causes of this war. The U. S participation began after the Pearl Harbor attack by the Japanese army.

World War I began in 1914 and ended 5 years later in 1919. World War II began decades later in 1939 and ended 6 years later in 1945. World War I began when nationalism rose. When nationalism was on the rise they thought it would increase loyalty in the country. Instead of loyalty, people began to want more power. Archduke Ferdinand was the leader of Hungary. He was assassinated by a Serbian terrorist and this later lead to World War I. World War II began because they fought to defeat complete control by one person. Most of Europe had then been taken over by Nazi’s and Adolf Hitler. The war ultimately began when Germany invaded Poland.

We all know that there were two World Wars, but World War II was involving three different groups - France, Great Britain, and Germany. Germany was declared for war in 1939 by France and Britain (Adams, 12). Hitler had already taken over Austria and parts of Czechoslovakia. However, Hitler came into Paris nine days after the Nazis took control (Adams, 14). This was after Germans had to accept anti-Communist and Jewish policies, as mentioned before. In resistance, Communists groups gained help from the USSR. Until 1941 in Europe and North Africa, the war was fought (Adams, 24). The bombing of Pearl Harbour made this war worldwide.

Wars today are very different from what they used to be like. Today when a country goes into war with another it’s typically some kind of “economic war” such as placing sanctions or embargoes on countries which in turn does not allow them to trade resources with others. These methods are fairly tame and since it seems to separate people from money, it works. But it’s a curious thought to think of what “world war three” would look like, you may think that perhaps it would look kinda cool with big machines and new technology, but unfortunately, a war today would be an awful, swift, and destructive thing that could not be easily

The war started because Germany tried to invade Poland. The invasion was not successful for the help of Britain and France . Some other events occurred that made Britain and France declared war on Germany. But the United States did not enter the war right away.

The US played a big role in the efforts to win the war even if it was near the end. Millions of both civilians and soldiers died in the war and cross fire. World War Three can erect at any point. The probability of another World War taking place is rising dramatically. There are many reasons or possible events that would put the globe in a World War Three. The outcome of many events can cause a global war, but three of them stand out the most. Three major reasons why and how the world could end up going into a World War Three is because of the fighting in Syria, the North Koreans are building their military, and China is gaining more power. Those three reasons or events can cause the third World War. Those three reasons are very close to happening. All three of those reasons or events have potential of taking place and leading us to global war, but only one can be the cause and the start of a WW3, it all depends on what event causes it first.
