Mistakes are part of life, sometimes accidents just happen or we misjudge something enough to mess it up entirely, but there are times when mistakes can have larger consequences than you could imagine. Theater runs much like a clock, with each line, choreographed movement and scene change moving one after another. If one were to throw a wrench into the works in a complicated process like this, changes need to be made and fast if the well oiled machine is to keep running. Today I’m going to be going over some the worst mistake I have had the misfortune of experiencing on stage and the way that I got out of it. The first and probably the worst mistake that has ever happened on stage was when my microphone fell out of my costume. During this
The past four years, I have breathed, slept, eaten, thought and immersed myself in all thing pertaining to theatre. This is where I discovered to truly work in a team, where I could be without fear of being something I am not, and where I have found peace in the maddening swirl of day to day life, ironic in the fact that theatre is a hectic world. This world is where I have made my best friends and found people I know I can count on and that I insist can depend on me. If I have learned one thing from my experiences in theatre, it is to strive and achieve
I do not know what things to be included in a self-introduction in general, but for me, without talking about my inner struggles which tightly have wrapped up in me, there is nothing much to talk about me. My life has been shaped by, with, and around them.
Being poor means you barely have enough money for the luxuries in life; you can only afford the absolute necessities in life. Being middle class means you can afford to splurge here and there on luxuries. Being wealthier means you live a life of opulence, and you are not concerned with money in the slightest. I do not live an extravagant live nor do I live a life devoid of luxuries. Most of my significant events in my life do not have money involved in them. Whenever I have money I carelessly splurge it on things I will never come to use or I treat myself to candy with it. I loathe saving money in such a manner it drives me insane whenever I save more than a couple dollars. I choose Katie Nolan for this section because she is the polar opposite
People are pulled over on a suspicion of driving under the influence routinely by the police. This can happen to you, even if your blood alcohol level isn't over the legal limit. It can even happen if you haven't had anything to drink at all. The key thing to remember is not to make the situation worse. The following are a few mistakes you should avoid.
Theatre means to the world to me, but, like many of the great things in my life, I didn’t know how much I would enjoy it until I experienced it firsthand. My love for the theatrical world was thrust upon me in high school. The tiny theatre department at my school was producing the Scottish Play and I had told my friends in the department to let me know if they ever needed a goofy chubby kid to stand in the background. This lighthearted request for inclusion was taken very seriously when the student cast to play Macduff developed an unfortunate case of Mono two weeks before the show was to open. The whole cast and the director tracked me down one day after classes and kindly but forcibly requested my help in filling in that role. I took a chance and said yes. I jumped head first into a huge project the likes of which I had almost no experience with and I loved every minute of it. I can’t claim that it was the best production of all time, nor can I claim that my performance was anything less than awkward but what I can state with absolute certainty is that this experience ignited a fiery love affair with the world of theatre deep within me. After that show, I took it upon myself to become as involved with theatre and theatrical production as I possibly could. Between that fateful day in tenth grade and now I have auditioned for every show at every school Ive attended and Ive clamored to gain experience in all aspects of the craft. I have worked on the stage crew for big

“No matter how hard the situation is, always believe that something beautiful is going to happen. “ -Anonymous. Life has its own surprises in life. One day, you may be cherishing those major moments in life with your family and the next, you may never see them again. Similar to a tradition, it is the reason that you wake up early in the morning, it is the reason that you smile, and it is the reason that you inhale nature. What if you don’t get to advance through 2,000 years of your tradition? Wouldn’t you feel heartbroken and depressed? Life itself would be dreary without that significant event. The Makah were misunderstood for their tradition. Many believed that they were endangering whale species, but in reality they were supplementing themselves
The great Netflix pricing debacle. I remember it like it was yesterday. The minute I received that email stating that the prices were going up, I immediately canceled my subscription. It is amazing how far they have come since then. Eventually, I made my way back to Netflix. There have been times when I have contemplated canceling my subscription, but there is always a new documentary or original series that pops up. My one pet peeve is that they are constantly removing titles that my son just so happens to love. That leads to a very disgruntled four year old.
Around the country young adults are preparing themselves to take the last steps towards graduation and beginning their lives as adults, yet most students would say they felt as though they aren’t ready. .”We ask 18 year old students to make huge decisions based on their careers when a month ago they had to ask to use the bathroom.” (Adam Kotsko, GoodReads). For the most part teachers and students have the best of intentions at school and want to teach and learn as much as they can, but the schools are ran like an old assembly line where everyone is viewed as the same and must perform as good as the rest. Every student is told they are unique. so why are we expected to learn the same way?
We all say it's not very easy to become successful, believing that there's anything could get many of us including myself unsuccessful. The reasons are used when I see it were distractions, stress, and responsibility; these shows how I often lack on school work everyday in my lives. Distractions could be caused of being unsuccessful, because it is the biggest one was used a lot is social media. I used it so much I will stop my work and check it out. Social media is an everyday technology, we attend to use to search with anything or catch up the daily media. Believing that getting attach to what's going on the world, therefore people like me will think it's very interesting and just clearly forget what as important never know what it was. Also
"We were meant to be perfectly imperfect." We were meant to have scars, we were meanf to have flaws. Flaws aren't always beastly, they are a unique piece of you. Don't walk around ashamed of your insecurities for those may be the best qualities someone sees in you. Not everyday is a bad day, and the truth is a bad day only last 24 hours. And always remember, It's not selfish to love yourself, it's not selfish to make yourself a priority, but it's selfish to make people feel like they shouldn't. To make someone feel better, if you think they looking bomb asf, tell them they look bomb asf. You never know how good your comment will make another feel. But what you need to know is you shouldn't enforce someone to change, that's selfish. Authenticity
Being on stage is an unparalleled feeling. The bright lights and the impatient crowd make it an experience that is both overwhelming and thrilling. The most stressful part of performing is the waiting. The backstage of a theater is like an alternate reality, with every performer anticipating their moment, rehearsing their songs quietly to themselves. The energy is palpable, a mix of nervousness and excitement so intertwined it is impossible to distinguish the two. I had rehearsed my song for hours on end, but I still found myself whispering the lyrics to myself just in case. When it comes to performing, there is a point where you have to decide to trust yourself and your talents, otherwise you may never make it on stage.
The biggest error a writer can do in his essay is use, “In this essay I will talk about”, “In this paper”, and “I believe” are a few example of lack of confident a writer can show. Obviously the paper is supported by reliable sources use by the writer to empower his argument, therefore there is no need to write “I” all the essay is about the writer supporting topic.
Kevin is a student that doesn’t care about what anyone says, think, or feel about him. You can pretty much say that he's just nonchalant. Although that is not why I consider him as a bad student, I consider him as a bad student because of his bad behaviors. One he disrespects his teachers, two he has bad grades, and three he's just hanging with the wrong friends.
I believe that mistakes lead to success, and success leads to an awesome discovery. When you put your mind in something and you do it there are always going to be mistakes going your way, but ,did you ever think that a mistake leaded to discovery. Many famous things that we all love are made by mistakes believe it or not if it wasn't for that one mistake most of the things we love and eat won't be here.
