Hello and thank you for taking the time to read and consider this letter. I would like my daughter, Shelby Cakebread, to stay at home because it is cheaper for her to drive back and forth. Without driving would cost around $14,000 a year, but if she were to drive to college, then it would roughly cost about $10,000 a year including $60 of gas money a week for all 52 weeks of the year. After the six years of college that it will take for her to get a degree, then that would make a big difference in the amount of money that she would have to pay.
Another reason I would like my daughter to say at home is because I have health issues. She helps clean up around the house, and do work that I can’t do or my husband can’t do alone. I do not drive
My mom is a wonderful stay at home mom and she does her job well. My dad was a submariner in the Navy therefore he was out to sea for six to eight months out of the year and during the summer, he of course still had to go to work, we did not see him much during our vacation from school. Mom was in charge of the house when he was not home and she came up with one rule that we followed every day, we had to read an hour before we were allowed to play any video games. As she said,” It’s a trade, if you read an hour then you get to play video games for an hour and if you read for more than an hour then good for you”.
Unlike her, however, I think I would like to stay at home with them until they reach school age if it was financially possible for me to do so. Not because it is what society thinks a mother’s place is, but because I would love to be able to spend that time with them when they are little. Our mom, who also works in education, did not go back to work until I my younger sister and I were in 2nd and 4th grade, and I would love to give my children that same experience. Having her pick us up from school and smelling fresh baked cookies when we walked in the door is something I’ll never
The day a child turns eighteen and graduates from high school is usually a happy day for a family. The even better day is when a parent drops their child off for college letting them learn how to be an independent adult. This stage of life is where parents can consider themselves an “empty-nester”, since the children are technically gone and it is just the spouses left at home. Sadly, things do not always happen this way. Families sometimes are not able to launch their children they way they want to, especially families who have children with disabilities because their mental or physical capability is not equipped to handle it. This is considered a burden to the caregivers. This is not the only type of burden that can happen to
There are many different reasons as to why parents rather keep their child home than enroll them into a centre-based childcare facility. Also, many different arguments as to which form of care is more beneficial to the child, homecare or daycare. There is a reliance on informal childcare from partners, friends, and family that mothers who return to work soon after giving birth depend on (Zagel et al., 2013). Zagel et al., (2013) states such informal childcare has detrimental effects on the children whereas daycares have beneficial effects on children. According to Lowry (2011), children are usually put in childcare because both parents are working. Compared to co-parents, lone mothers who worked full time were less likely to use informal childcare
Watching the acclimation and financial struggles of her parents has continuously motivated her to be a studious, hardworking and independent individual. As the first of her family to be eligible to attend college, she has consistently stated that she is grateful for the limited opportunities that her family has been able to provide for her and hopes that her success will allow her to take care of each of them so that they may retire.
Since out of pocket payment for children’s education is out of reach for the majority of Americans, traditional wisdom has suggested saving for their
Ms. Kitty, I am a line worker in one of your Kitty Litter Auto businesses . I would like to inform you that the factory that I currently work in has become dangerous. The cars that are being produced from this line are showing signs of malfunctions. These malfunctions are seen when we are putting the tires on the car they keep catching on fire. Also the air quality in the factory has also gone down to barely anything due to the increased number of fires. Another malfunction would be that the line is no longer making cars anymore it has been making bikes with spikes all over them.
Suppose your child just started kindergarten and possibly the most important thing that is overlooked up to this point is college. Did you know that starting early to help fund your children’s education can be beneficial for you and your children? With the college tuition inflation rates increasing each year, it is very important to start early so you and your child can be prepared. A national study by Sallie Mae® shows that only 48% of families are saving for college. This is compared to 51% in 2014, 50% in 2013, and 60% in 2010. It is a substantial decrease from previous years. It is never too late to start planning for your child’s education; however it is very important to do so. Successful
While most parents want to stay at home with their children, especially in their early years, circumstances don’t always allow that. In that situation, there are various non-parental care choices. I think there are positive aspects to all of the different types of non-parental care options and when looking for options it is important that parents spend lots of time researching because you will find very good and very poor examples of nannies, center-based care and family-based care, and in my opinion the most important aspect is that the care is good, and being done by someone that is professional, fully trained and passionate about the job of caring for and helping develop young children. All things being equal and assuming there were excellent
Top on the issue's list is "how to keep mom or dad at home" in a happy, safe environment, while you try to maintain your many responsibilities - children, jobs, grandchildren, and life styles necessary to your own well-being.
The family will also have the support of home school partnership workers and family support worker if required. The age of the children makes it easy for them to learn and creates early intervention to prevent future learning problems.
Any extra money is used for entertainment and shopping. Her parents pay the cost of tuition that a loan does not cover. Parents also help with any needs of food, clothing, and necessary items. Having these jobs prepares the patient for the workplace. I encouraged her to start a saving some money for future needs and to continue to be a productive member of society. The importance of a college degree was discussed.
Some families may have young children at home that they wish to raise or homeschool. Other families who are stationed overseas may have trouble finding work. Many spouses decide to go back to school and pursue careers that may have been on hold due to their spouses career. These decisions may be made by spouses on a case by case basis depending on duty station or they may simply decide that one spouse stays home until their children become school age.
Thirdly, she has the option to stay home and go to school without working. Then she can focus with her classes especially English and Mathematics which are very important for her as business major, but at the house there will be kids playing and jumping around, so she will not have the quiet place to study. She will not have the privacy to keep her stuff. Also without work she will not have money to spend on herself, and how can she offer the school costing for the rest of the years? This option might be difficult for her study.
We never spent a cent on tuition for school from elementary school to their Bachelor’s degree! The secret is “parent 's involvement” on their children 's education to ensure academic success.
