Per Reporter: Yvonkus is a single parent of three children. Yvonkus is not allowed to say anything to Jamaree without Wendy (maternal grandmother) contacting law enforcement. Wendy never take the time to listen to what Yvonkus has to say. Jamaree has turned Wendy against Yvonkus. Wendy has been known to threatened Yvonkus to contact CPS. Jamaree is rebellious; he has begun stealing and sneaking out of the home to hang with other people. Jamaree has attempt to fight Jamirriah. Wendy is unaware of Jamaree’s behaviors. Whenever Yvonkus tries to discipline Jamaree, he’ll run off to call Wendy. On 11/12/17, Wendy contact law enforcement stating that Yvonkus hit Jamaree in his eye. Per Reporter: Donna (James lawyer) contacted CPS 9/18/17 with concerns of physical abuse towards Preston. According to Donna, James (victim’s father) went to pick up Preston 9/16/17. During that time Denise told James that she hit Preston so hard in his face it made her hand hurt. There were no marks or bruising noticed. It is unknown of when the incident happened or what caused the incident. James was recently court ordered to receive unsupervised visitations. Kayla (victim’s mother) has supervised visitation with Preston. The allegations were not discussed with Denise.
There’s concern that Hermionne Romeo, is not properly caring for her daughter, Ashante Saint Val (17). The mother kicked the child out of the home, and will not allow the child to return. The child was having chest pain and is self-mutilating. The mother refuses to take the child to the doctor and to provide legal documentation to Ms. Aarons (caretaker). The child has not been in school due to being expelled for missing too many days of school.
The reporter stated there was an incident when Mrs. Sterling sent a 15 year old boy that Briana wanted to go to homecoming with text messages about her breast. The reporter also stated there was an incident when Mrs. Sterling dropped Briana off at a party she was not invited to because the host did not want to deal with her mother. The reporter stated Briana knew the owners of the home and she was not injured or harm while attending the party. The reporter stated Mrs. Sterling has been witnessed grabbing Briana’s hair, yelling, screaming, and threatening to hit her with a belt when she doesn’t perform her gymnastic stunts correctly. Ms. Barbay stated Mr. Sterling comes into the home drunk and Mrs. Sterling will call the children in a room when the parents are about to fight; the children have to stand in the room to watch their parents fight. Per the reporter, during the fight, Mrs. Sterling will have the children call their paternal grandparents for help. The reporter stated Mr. Sterling’s father is best friend with a local judge in the town that sweeps the family’s dysfunction under the rug. PER REPORTER: Jamita said she use to represent Ayanna in the past through the youth court for delinquent matters. Jamita said this morning she received a call from Shavon Sykes a counselor at Warren Yazoo Mental Health regarding Ayanna. Jamita said Shavon told her, she saw her client referring to Ayanna on the corner of Washington and Lee Street surrounded by police. Jamita said she then left her office to go and check on the child because she knew she had been having some issues at home. Jamita said when she arrived to the scene she noticed Ayanna had clothes in her bag and was planning to run away. Jamita said she asked Ayanna why she was running away from home and she expressed no longer wanting to be at home with her mother. Jamita said
R/s on June 23rd, Kevon (paramour) slapped Wesley (6) on his right, cheek and struck him in head. R/s Kevon pushed Denyelle and continue to hit again and she fell to ground. R/s Denyelle allowed Kevon back in the home on June 24th, and was he given a trespassing notice. R/s Kevon was arrested on 06/27/2016 and charged with Domestic violence, malicious injury, and trespassing. R/s Denyelle is four to five months pregnant.
Mr. Jamar stated that he lives in 2204 Emerson Avenue North Minneapolis MN with a roommate. This worker asked about the allegation. Mr. Jamar did not deny that he was in a relationship with Ms. Robinson in about a couple months. However, he denied any physical altercation with Ms. Robinson or with the children. He stated that they have been dating over two months and Ms. Robinson and her children were living with him at the time. He stated that he took care of the children as if they were his own children. He stated that he never hit or threaten any of her children.
Reporter stated he was getting ready to go to work Friday morning around 4:30 a.m. and Marquise was standing outside his home crying. Marquise has been sleeping at the home since Friday. Reporter hasn't met any of Marquise's family. Reporter's child is friends with Marquise. He said Marquise's mother is in a nursing home in Noxubee county. Reporter stated he and his wife are trying to help Marquise. Reporter stated Marquise hasn't been in school. He said he was suspended for 10 days but he barely goes to school when he is not suspended. He is suppose to be back at school now. Yesterday was his last day of suspension. R/s Melquan said his mother advised him that she had took pictures of his room to show proof to the caseworker that Melquan is bad and disobedient. According to Quanzarius’s statement, he left the house at 6am, on 2-19-16. When he returned to the home from his walk, his mother wanted him to “come here”. She hit him with an extension cord. He tried to take the cord because it hurt. Quanzarius ran in the hallway, and the mother got the mop and him; the mop broke. She grabbed him by the neck and choked him. Quanzarius ran into the kitchen, but the mother was tired and told him to get ready for school. Quanzarius has marks/bruises on his left and right arm, lower back and lower left leg. Physical abuse has occurred before, and it has been reported to DHS. At the time of the incident, Jakevious was in the housing watching it.
McKinley went home on Monday, with her behavior card on yellow. The mother gave her a warning that she’ll beat her if it happened again. On 12-16-17, McKinley went home again, with her behavior card on yellow. Jessica got made and whooped/beat McKinley. Jessica gave McKinley a pound to the top of her head with her fist, followed by a pound to the left side of her forehead (near her temple), which resulted in bruising and swellings. Per Reporter: Shameka lives across town with a man (Revel). Shameka is never home. Shameka has a total of seven kids. Only three of them live in the home (Jamel, Jamar & Jacquez). Other relatives provide food for Jamar and Jamel. Lajerrian (victim’s sibling) lives with the oldest sister (Kyeshia); the other two (unknown siblings) are adults living in other areas. Jamel and Jamar are left home under the care of their older brother (Jacques). Jacques is always fighting Jamel and Jamar; the most recent incident happened the morning of 4/23/18. It is reported that the child is currently in the physical custody of the father, John Hunsucker, and he will not allow the mother access to the child. There is reportedly no custody agreement between the parents. Mr. Hunsucker is reportedly using drugs (marijuana and possibly meth). It was stated that Mr. Hunsucker has made the child urinate into medicine bottles, for him to use to pass employment drug screens. It was also stated that Mr. Hunsucker leaves the child with the paternal grandfather, Paul Meeks Jr., for days at a time and that Mr. Meeks is an active meth user. In Sam’s unfortunate situation he feels he is unable to talk to his family and tell them how he feels and what he really wants to do in terms of his career and so social justice isn’t being encouraged because Sam should feel safe enough to talk to his parents and let them know how he was feeling. It would also be a very unfair situation if he were forced into his father’s business when he had other plans and ideas in mind.
He walks around with a hard on. Ja’Kevion alleged that Tray who is 4 or 5 years older, messed with him when he was 4 years old. The incident happened one time. Tray stays in Wilkinson County and has MDDD. His mom name is Stacey and the reporter stated Marion would have more information for that family.
