9/11 was of the biggest “terrorist attack” in the United States History. Many building was destroyed in this single day. The Twin Towers of the World Trade Center, the pentagon, and crash in field near Shanksville in western Pennsylvania. The day of 9/11 was a conspiracy.
What, not who, is to be blamed for 9/11? It’s very clear that the primary cause of 9/11 was the planes, hijacked by Al-Qaeda terrorists, crashing into the buildings. However, it’s also commonly known that the twin towers stood for a memorable a hundred and two minutes before crashing down from the view the manhattan skyline. So how were so many lives lost when there was so much time to escape the buildings? Many have searched for answers, and have come to conspiratorial conclusions, biased and without relatable evidence. However after reviewing the information on the attacks, one thesis stands above the rest of them; the lack of communication was responsible for the greatest loss of life. Though there are many other great points to be made
The topic of the interview used for the interview was 9/11. 9/11 was used because 9/11 was a big point in American History and it is always an interesting to get peoples opinions about 9/11 because there are so many different stories that people have about what they experienced that day. The interviewee was Carolyn Alexander and she was interviewed because even though she lived on the west coast when 9/11 happened, she was still impacted in multiple ways. Carolyn was impacted because she was just as surprised as everybody else when she found out about 9/11.
Did you know, that one person escaped the tower with seconds to spare? A man named Ron DiFrancesco was trying to escape from the South tower, after the North Tower had been attacked, when the second hijacked plane hit between floor 77 and floor 85 of the South Tower. The explosion threw him against the wall, but, however, he was able to carry on to the ground floor from floor 81 in the same time the building was standing after the attack, and then it had collapsed behind him as he was escaping from the building. The attacks on September 11, 2001 had many important effects such as a change in immigrations laws, starting wars, and changed airport rules.
Paragraph 1: The two media sources i am using is Television and the Internet on 9/11 disasters. The television and The Internet will help me because i can use like CNN news or History channel and i can also research on the 9/11 attack. The disaster and the devastation and the fatality on 9/11. Journalist are reliable because without they help i wouldn't tell you about the 9/11 disaster. When did this disaster occurred? On September 11,2001 8:45 A.M. on a clear Tuesday morning. Where did this disaster occurred? The World Trade Center in New York City near the Twin Tower. Another one happened in Pentagon outside of Washington D.C. and Also in Pennsylvania.
Did you know that almost 3,000 people died on 9/11? People hijacked four planes and crashed them into the Pentagon, both World Trade Center buildings and into a field in Pennsylvania. 9/11 was a historical event because of what happened before, during and after.
The terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 had a major impact on America. In a matter of moments, what began as a routine Tuesday morning was filled with “scenes of destruction and utter devastation” (Thompson, 2001, para. 1). “The official death toll from the World Trade Center attack currently stands at 2,753 people, including 343 members of the Fire Department” (Dunlap, 2016, para. 10). In the aftermath, life was put on hold. The events that occurred in New York, Pennsylvania and at the Pentagon that day affected life across the whole country, including sporting events. Horse racing, golf, soccer, hockey, baseball, football games, and more were all at a standstill, and were either being cancelled or postponed (Litsky, 2001). Hunter Thompson, a columnist for ESPN stated, “Football suddenly seemed irrelevant” (2001, para. 1). That day in United States history left mental, emotional, and physical scars across the nation.
So It was a sad moment for the people that lost their lives that day the day of September 9,2001 or a shorter word 9/11. The people that hit the two Twin Towers and the Pentagon and one was going for the White House but there was a fight in the plane that was going to the White House. But the plane was crashing in a field at Pennsylvania. So, every year at 9/11 they will have a memory for the people that died that day from the two Twin Towers. So, if you will try to go too see the twin towers they are not there because of the 9/11 they did not try to rebuild it so they just put water in the outside and there is trees too. So if you try to go there in the night you will see the light in the middle where it was.
9/11 had many people devastated. Many people lost many loved ones do to the 9/11 attack on the day of September 11, 2001. 3,000 people were killed during the attacks of New york and Washington D.C., including more than 400 police officers and firefighters. If you may not know what 9/11 is it is the day when American Boeing Airlines loaded with 20,000 gallons of fuel crashed into the World Trade Center. The crash left a gaping, burning hole near the 80th to the 110th floor. About 18 minutes after the first crash on the north side of the Trade Center, the second Boeing plane hit the south side of the building on the 60th floor. The collision of the two planes made a massive explosion that showered debri. The people that were involved
On September 11, a plane crashed into The World Trade Center, demolishing both buildings. Many people were affected by this tragedy, some even were diagnosed with cancer from trying to clean up ground zero. There are speculations that the people who did have health issues were the ones not wearing the respirators, and many died because of not protecting themselves from the dangerous fumes. Some did not realize that, it could be the last day they might see their families and rushed out without saying goodbyes for the last time. There was little help provided to the sick workers. The lawyers of the workers treat them more as heros then the people who employed them to help clean up after the World Trade Center attack. There were many rising concerns given after the attack and a vast majority of people wish those concerns would be addressed.
On Thursday I asked a close family friend questions about important United States history events such as 9/11, Obama’s inauguration, Hurricane Katrina, the Recession, Pluto not being a planet anymore, and the fall of Facebook and Myspace. Many other US events were mentioned, but those five were the ones she remembered the most. Along with her opinions I also spoke or discussed my opinions about police brutality that’s currently happening and the current debates between who’s going to be the next president of the United States. We also spoke of which events were most important and impacted the US more than the other options. On that last topic we had different opinions on which were more beneficial. All of the historical events were beneficial and impacted the United States in some way and molded the actions of Americans in one way or another.
Everyday millions of people, more specifically U.S. citizens trust and rely on their government to make the right decisions in order to keep them safe. On September 11th, 2001, the U.S. government betrayed their citizens by letting and also taking part in the worst attack to ever happen on our soil. Our government betrayed us that day and our former President George Bush and many other government officials had prior knowledge and even were a part of the 9/11 “terrorist” attacks.
As the 9/11 attacks were happening millions of people’s eyes couldn't leave the t.v. screens they all thought only that it couldn’t be real. The assistant fire chief was talking with his men after he had his coffee when what he thought was a t.v. show came on but soon found out the terrorists hijacked a plane and crashed it. Many of the first responders were busy treating smoke inhalation when the first plane struck its target, but many others waited for their broken bones and bad burns to be treated. The emergency responders do these things every day, protect other people from getting hurt by these types of things.the noises around them was the hardest things to see happen what he heard was pain and death.
Throughout the years there are events that stay with you, and the date September 11, 2001 is one of them. The plane hijackings, attack on the Twin Towers, and plane crashes that took place on 9/11 were tragic. Though being born that year and not being able to witness the event, I feel as though it changed me in some way. This action of terrorism effected the U.S. in many ways, that would help prevent terrorism in the long run. Which would give the new generation ideas to help prevent terrorism. Despite the years that have gone by, 9/11 will always be a travesty that will be remembered.
On September 11, 2001, Fire Station Four was expecting to have a normal day. All eight firefighters and the chief arrived to the station and got into their uniforms. At 8:45 a.m., they got a message. The north tower of the World Trade Center had been hit. A plane had been hijacked and flown into the tower. All of the firefighters and Chief Hosterman got into their trucks while in a state of terror.
