My dream job is a doctor because I want to help sick people to become healthier.
I can also help my parents when they are sick. To become a doctor, I have to read a lot of books because doctors are required to know well about the human body. Also, I have to study English very hard because most of the medical terms are in English. In order to become a doctor, I have to make a constant effort. There are few things for me to work on. First, I have to love and serve for those who are sick. Doctors need to give extra care for their patients because they need to know well about each patient. Second, all doctors have to be diligent. First of all I would like to be in the healthcare field because I would like to have the ability to help parents keep their children safe.I love children and I hate seeing them when they are sick. I would like to be able to help them live a healthier environment by helping them avoid illnesses and by helping them get over illnesses quickly. I would like to one day find a cure for an illness and save multiple children or
My interest in medicine first stemmed from my freshman Biology class and my Nutrition class. I was intrigued by our studies of cells, genetics, and disease. Both courses incited a sense of awe and curiosity within me. Dissecting a frog, was the stepping-stone for my interest in medicine. Seeing the frog's heart made me wonder how the human heart worked. My research into the human heart inspired me to learn more about the medical field. I sought out volunteer opportunities that would give me insight into a doctor’s typical day. During my volunteer experience, I learned that as a doctor you experience many obstacles, including patient compliance and insurance approval issues. In my journey to pursue medicine, I learned that becoming a doctor means more than helping people, it means being the team leader, being compassionate, and most importantly being committed to the patient’s well being.
I specifically wish to become a Pediatrician, the love and patience I have for children is insane. I love helping kids and working with them. Because of my medical class, I can become a medical assistant right after high school, but I really want to get a college degree and follow my dad’s steps.
My dream is to become a Physical Therapist. I have always had a passion for helping people heal their ailments, and socially contribute in health care. As a Physical Therapist, I will be able to interact one on one with patients and provide
The job I would like to do when I am older is neonatal surgery. I think neonatal surgery is a wonderful profession for me because I love babies. This job entails working with and performing life saving surgeries to premature babies, or babies with birth defects. I feel as though this job is a gift because you’re giving life to another human and also giving them another chance at life.
Attending a First Aid course improved my confidence in emergency situations and competence to provide relevant care. I teach first aid to small groups in school as CPR training and awareness will increase chances of survival from heart attacks. My mother's illness has inspired me to complete two online courses on Cancer and Abdominal Anatomy which required efficient time management. As I have found, the ability to work as a team is essential for the role of a doctor. Effective teamwork was crucial in the Drill Team during my time as an Air Cadet and it was this which led to victory. I play Basketball socially to unwind and have been committed to Tennis, competing in several Tennis tournaments. Doctors must be diligent, resilient and empathetic, skills which I am beginning to develop. I have found that doctors must commit to lifelong learning and I believe I have begun to acquire the necessary academic skills to pursue such a demanding profession. I have learnt that the role of a doctor extends far beyond treating disease to giving patient
Currently, I am working for Home Life, which is a non-profit organization that assists people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I am also conducting research at OSU on cartilage cryopreservation. After an arduous, yet enjoyable journey, I hope to travel to developing nations and assist those that are unfortunate, by providing knowledge regarding health and medical practices. Working hard in school and excelling in everything I pursue ties in with my long-term goal of becoming a doctor. This is due to the fact that attaining such a career requires self-determination, strength during times of agony, and resilience as well as reflection from every failure. Personally, preventing diseases and spreading awareness medically would be profoundly illuminating.
Physicians must treat their patients compassionately, listen to their concerns, and act with a good bedside manner.
The career I would like to pursue would be Ultrasonography. Ultrasonography is a diagnostic medical procedure that uses high frequency sound waves to see images of a patients internal organs, tissues and blood flow. I first became interested in this field when I became pregnant with my first child. I thought that the ability to see images on the inside of a person's body was very intriguing. I've had many ultrasounds in my lifetime and my favorite were always the ones where I got to see the development of my baby. To be able to see a human being before it's even born is one of the most phenomenal things you could ever imagine. To be an sonographer would be a very rewarding career in so many ways. I would be able to help my patients who were hurt or injured, yet I would also be able to show expecting parents there
f I could pick any career it would be a Pediatrician Nurse Practitioner for an Oncologist. Growing up I wanted to be what every other kid wanted to be: doctor, lawyer, princess and the list goes on. As I got into High School I found myself interested in a lot of the medical classes. My freshman year I was in Introduction to Health Science which lead me to join HOSA. I fell in love with the thought of helping others. My junior year I was involved in a clinical rotation where one hour a day I would go to the hospital and sit in on surgeries, comfort patients, do coffee runs and anything else I could get my hands on. Now going into my senior year I am going to have an internship for a Pediatric Oncologist in Rockwall. This is going to help me

I want to be a Neurosurgeon when I get older. A neurosurgeon is someone who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of the nervous system. They can help you treat problems with the brain or the spine, trauma, tumors, and congenital anomalies. Since I was twelve years old I have always been fascinated in the human brain. I want to know what it has, and how it functions. I've got a passion for helping people who need it. This is because I believe that I can make a difference in the world.
