and

The largest force can be obtained by virtual work as

δU=0(Qmax-F) δxA+P δyF=0Qmax-3×(2×0.2×cos30×δθ)+40×(-3×0.2×sin30×δθ)=0Qmax=37.64 N

The smallest force can be obtained as

(Qmin+F) δxA+P δyF=0Qmin+3×(2×0.2×cos30×δθ)+40×(-3×0.2×sin30×δθ)=0Qmin=31.64 N
