In a regular pentagonal pyramid, each base edge measures 7 cm, and the apothem of the base measures 4 cm. The altitude of the pyramid measures 12 cm.

Find a) lateral area L; b) total area T; c) volume V.




For a right circular cylinder, suppose that r = 6 in and H = 7 in.

Find the exact:

  2. b) T;
  3. c) V.
