I am not sure how to solve part a), is there a formula for this? For part b) I don't understand how the direction is [N] when the graph is labeled as [S]. For part c) I don't know where the direction came from or how to find that. Thank you.

=40m[S] - 30m[S]

=10m[N]

 

c) vav =Δd/Δt

= 50m/16s

= 3.1m/s
