2- Now, adjust the compass slightly longer than half of the length of the line segment.
3- Above the line segment and below the line segment, draw the arcs from one end
4- With the same arc length, draw the arc from the other end above and below the line segment
5-Now, draw the line segment by placing the straightedge where arcs cross above and below the line segment.
