A team of Health workers including the Area Health Educator (AHE) visited Bwaise community to identify the leading health problem of the people so as to design a suitable health promotion project. They first introduced themselves to the Area Local Council Chairperson (LCI) and informed him that they would spend three days in the community. On the first day, they systematically moved around the slum observing the availability of social services like schools, hospitals or clinics among others.
