Soil contamination can be defined as if the concentration of nutrients, chemicals, or elements in the soil becomes more than it naturally or generally contains by the results of human action. If the soil contamination goes on to harm living organisms then, it is called soil pollution.

  2. Leakages in sewage systems.
  3. Direct discharge of wastewater from industries.
  4. Rainwater or floods.
  5. Rupture of the underground storage tank.
