There are two types of errors a researcher can make while testing a Hypothesis : Type I and Type II error
Type 1 error occurs when we reject a null hypothesis when it is true. Type II error occurs when the null hypothesis is accepted when it is not true.
Let say :
Null Hypothesis : The coins you have in your bag are fair
Alternate : The coins you have in your bag are not fair
Type 1 error is rejecting that The coins you have in your bag are fair when in actual they are
Type II error is accepting that The coins you have in your bag are fair when in actual they are not
