Velocity Vectors for cannonball at Point A, B and C:

At point A there are two velocity vectors one for horizontal direction and the other is in the vertical direction.

At point B there is only one component of the velocity vector which is the horizontal velocity vector component.

As at the highest point vertical component of velocity is zero.

At point C horizontal velocity along right side and velocity component acting downwards.
