c. An object 3.0 cm tall is placed 20 cm in front of a converging lens. A real image is 
formed 10 cm from the lens. What is the focal length of the lens?

d.  Bob is stranded on a tropical island. To feed himself, he has carved a fishing spear 
out of a lovely piece of drift wood. Bob stands in the water waiting for a suitable fish 
to swim by. Finally, he is in luck. Using knowledge of light and a nice diagram, 
explain where Bob should aim his spear to make sure he skewers himself some 
supper

e. In April of 2019, scientists managed to capture an actual image of a black hole. 
Explain why scientists have not been able to capture an image before now, and 
describe what was involved in the process that allowed them to achieve an actual 
image.
