Instantaneous velocity (v)= slope of position vs time graph  at that instant

                                          = dx/dt

(a) t= 1.3 s

    v = dx/dt

       =10/2 = 5 m/s

Slope is same for t=0  to t= 2 s

(b) t = 3.1 s

v = dx /dt = ∆x/∆t

 = (5-10)/(4-2)

  = -5/2 = - 2.5m/s
