respond to the following

  • How often should supervisors provide feedback to employees?

Supervisors are the front line assistance and we have the responsibility to mold employees to generate the improvement that may be wanted from the company. I say "we" because this is a huge part of my current job where i have to provide constructive feedback to the agents so they understand their status and what can be improved or praised. Feedback is a way to inform a person of one's thoughts on something that was monitored or found. My position is a surface around performance management and ensuring the agents are maintaining their monthly goals against other vendors and departments. My team and I ensure that we take the time to provide our agents with needed feedback so they are aware of what needs improvement. Currently my company has me working the financial collections with a personal loan company. My agents are responsible for multiple daily metrics that they need to adhere to and there are actions that they need to follow daily. If supervisors do not take the time out to ensure that they inform the employee of what they think. This is a way to also reinforce the employee to modify their behavior. Gives them a positive outlook of what is expected.
