This obligation is based on creating an environment at work that strives to minimize conflict among coworkers. If an HR manager becomes aware of employees having disagreements, it is their responsibility to attempt to diffuse the problem. They can do this in several ways. One way that can try to defuse the situation is by allowing them to vent (Gallo, 2014). It can be hard to listen to people complain, but sometimes that’s exactly what they need (Gallo, 2014).
