Types of Loop
Loops are the elements of programming in which a part of code is repeated a particular number of times. Loop executes the series of statements many times till the conditional statement becomes false.
Loops
Any task which is repeated more than one time is called a loop. Basically, loops can be divided into three types as while, do-while and for loop. There are so many programming languages like C, C++, JAVA, PYTHON, and many more where looping statements can be used for repetitive execution.
While Loop
Loop is a feature in the programming language. It helps us to execute a set of instructions regularly. The block of code executes until some conditions provided within that Loop are true.
Step by step
Solved in 2 steps
- Write a Java program, GradeApp that reads a series of exam scores given as integers in the range 0 to 100. Display the total number of grades and the number of grades in each letter-grade category, followed class average (as a percentage with 2 decimal place): Use the value -1 as a sentinel value to indicate the end of the input. (The -1 value is used only to end the loop. Please do not use it in the calculations.)Write a java program that enables the user to enter a string and an index, then cuts the letter in the given index. And prints the new string. eg.. Enter the string: Joardan Enter the index: 2 The new string: JordanWrite a program that prompts a student to enter a Java score. If thescore is greater or equal to 60, display “you pass the exam”; otherwise, display “youdon’t pass the exam”. Your program ends with input -1. Here is a sample run: Enter your score: 80 ↵EnterYou pass the exam.Enter your score: 59 ↵EnterYou don't pass the exam.
- Write a java program which asks the user to enter name and age and calls the following methods: a. printName(): Takes name as parameter and prints it 20 times using a while loop. b. printAge(): Takes age as parameter and prints all the numbers from 1 upto age. 2. Write a java program that will print first 10 multiples of 3 in a single line.Write a program in Java that creates a login name for a user, given the user's first name, last name, and a four-digit integer as input. Output the login name, which is made up of the first six letters of the first name, followed by the first letter of the last name, an underscore (_), and then the last digit of the number (use the % operator). If the first name has less than six letters, then use all letters of the first name. Ex: If the input is: Michael Jordan 1991 the output is: Your login name: MichaeJ_1 Ex: If the input is: Nicole Smith 2024 the output is: Your login name: NicoleS_4write a java program that asks the user to select from a list of 4 appetizers( nachos, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, chicken wings) 4 entrees(steak, salmon, chicken, pasta) 4 beverages( soda, water, tea, beer), and 4 desserts(chocolate cake, ice cream, apple pie, cheesecake) each with a wait time, and then calculate the price to pay based on selection. (each item has a price)
- Q 1: Write a complete Java program with your own code writing that contains:- A main method- A loop: for, while, or do-while- A selection: if-else or switch- Variables that have different scopes (main, loop, if, etc.)- A constant literalQ2: Test your program. Ensure that it runs correctly (syntax error free).Q3: Identify the scope(s) of each variable in your Java program.Write a java program that enables the user to enter a string and an index, then cuts the letter in the given index. And prints the new string. .Write a sentinel loop in java that read numbers from the console until the user typed -1 and then printed the maximum and minimum number.
- Write a Java program that asks a user for the size (number of rows and number of columns) of the multiplication table and then it displays the multiplication table. For example, your program asks a user to enter number of rows and stores it in an integer variable called rownumber, and then your program asks for the number of columns and stores it in an integer variable called colnumber. Then your program displays the multiplication table of rownumber of rows and colnumber of columns. You will need to use the following: Import javaj.util.*; //statement at the beginning of your program Scanner input = new Scanner(System.in); //input is a variable used to monitor input from keyboard Using the following to read user input System.out.println(“Enter row number”); //prompt user to enter row number Int rownumber = input,nextInt(); //this reads an integer input from user and stores it in an integer variable called rownuber.Write a Java program that given the dimensions of a rectangle, and the number of random rectangles to generate, calculates the number of randomly generated rectangles with no-overlap with the given rectangle. Your program should ask the user to enter the number of random rectangles to generate as well as the dimensions of the given rectangle. The program should display a table which includes information about each randomly generated rectangle and the number of contained corners in the given rectangle. Finally, it should indicate the number of randomly generated rectangles with no-overlap. See the sample runs. requirements: 1. Number of generated rectangles should be greater than zero. 2. The position of the upper left corner of the given rectangle is (0, 0) and its dimensions should range between 10 and 100. 3. The upper left corner coordinates of each random rectangle are generated randomly to be less than 100 and greater than -100. Besides, its generated random dimensions…Write a Java program that displays a temperature conversion table for degrees Celsius and degrees Fahrenheit. The table should include rows for all temperatures between 0 and 100 degrees Celsius that are multiples of 10 degrees Celsius.
