the figure on the right. Find the change of internal energy, the net
heat transfer, and the work done BY the gas after one cycle. What
is the efficiency of the engine? Explain. No equations, graphs or
sketches allowed. HINT 1: You should be able to obtain
numerical values for all questions. HINT 2: If confused (but only as
a last resort!), try inventing your own numbers on the axes, and
then calculating numerically all quantities to inform your intuition
before you start explaining. Of course, your explanation should not
refer to your invented numbers.
