You are serving as the Health and Wellness coordinator at the local community center and Alana serves as the 62-year old Director the Center. During an annual wellness fair you hosted at the center Alana indicated that she would like to join the Couch to Half Marathon program the community center is offering a part of its wellness program. The following information was gathered from Alana at the Wellness Fair: She is a nonsmoker. She is 5’6” (168 cm) tall, weighs 224 lb (101.8kg), and has a waist girth of 43” (109 cm). Her blood pressure is 126/84 mmHg, and her lipid profile is as follows: total cholesterol of 218 mg dl, LDL cholesterol of 141 mg dl, HDL cholesterol of 52 mg dl. Her fasting glucose level is 122 mg dl. Her father died of a heart attack at age 74, and her mother and one of her sisters have type 2 diabetes. Her main form of recreation is reading. She reports no signs or symptoms of chronic diseases. Stratify and Classify Alana’s risk status and provide your recommendations  (based on ACSM guidelines) for entry into the class he would like to join.

A lady named Alana who is 62 year old and has a height of 5'6" (168cm) tall ,weight of 101.8 kg has a waist girth of 43" inch. Her blood press release is 126/84 mmhg, total cholesterol is 218 mg dl from which LDL cholesterol is 141 mg dl and HDL cholesterol is 52 mg dl. Her fasting blood glucose level is 122 mg dl. Her father died with heart attack at the age of 74 and her mother and one of her sister have type 2 diabetes . She has no sign and symptoms related to chronic disorder. 

So she has a risk of developing chronic diseases like cardiovascular diseases and type 2 diabetes as her father and mother have these diseases. She can have it genetically as well as by modifiable risk factors.
