ii Brake Mean Effective Pressure
i Brake Specific Fuel Consumption
iv Thermal Efficiency
(c) Describe a feasible test procedure to obtain an estimate of the
indicated mean effective pressure of an engine. Include details
of the theory which underpins the test procedure, and any mea-
surement problems or sources of inaccuracy.
