Solution ) 1) points ( - 4 , - 4 ) and ( 4 , 6 )

Slope ( m ) =  ( y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

              m = 6 - ( -4 ) / 4 - ( - 4 )

              m = 10 / 8

              m= 5/4

We have two points we can choose any  one of two points 

We choose ( -4 , -4 )

Point slope form of the equation 

y - y1 = m ( x - x1)

y - (- 4 ) = 5/4 ( x - ( - 4 ) )

y + 4 = 5/4 ( x + 4 )

4 (y + 4 ) = 5 ( x + 4 )

4y + 16 = 5x + 20

5x + 20 - 4y - 16 = 0

5x - 4y + 4 = 0
